I walked out of my class. I tried calling Hunter but he said the whole gang is with him at hindi daw niya ako masasamahan. I tried dialling Lucas' number. 

"Hello Hell? What's up?" tanong niya.

"Can you go with me?" sabi ko agad.

"Uhh, sure. Where to?" tanong niya.

"Anywhere." 

"May problema ba?" he asked but i didnt answer him. May problema nga ba ako?

"Can you just come? Or i'll just pick you up? Where are you?" sabi ko.

"Im in a daycare. Sunnyside. Good timing coz i forgot my car, i'll just hitch a ride with you." sabi niya.

"Ok." sabi ko and went to my car. Fuck class. I dont have a reason to stay here anyways. Tapos naman na yung mission ko.

"Where are you going?" i heard Brick's voice behind me. Not close but close enough for me to hear what he just said.

I was about to look when I heard Mariel.

"Let's go cafeteria." she said. I didnt even bother looking at them kaya i just continued walking. Asa pa akong kakausapin niya ako. Wala naman akong alam na pwede niyang ikagalit or what. I dont even have the slightest idea why is he avoiding me.

While im driving going to that daycare he's talking about, it took me a while to go there. Malapit pala sa Skydome. Dun sa school nina Tito TJ.

What is he doing in a daycare anyways?

Habang hinihintay ko si Lucas na lumabas nasa loob lang ako ng sasakyan. Then i saw him walked out of that daycare. Next to her is a girl while holding a small girl in her left hand. My forehead creased. I went out of my car.

"What's going on?" tanong ko. May anak na ba siya nang hindi ko alam? The girl and the small girl just stayed where they are, couple of meters away from us.

"Oh, a friend. Im just helping her out. Halika na. Do you want me to drive?" tanong niya. I nodded. Pumasok na kami sa loob at nagdrive na siya.

"So where are we going?" tanong niya. Ayoko naman umuwi sa bahay. For sure mom and dad stay there.

"Let's go to a bar." sabi ko. He looked at me.

"What are we going to do in a bar Hell? This is so not you. Is there a problem? Tell me. We're friends right?" tanong niya.

"I just dont know how to start. Come on let's drink. My treat." sabi ko. Umiling naman siya.

"Bars are still close at this early morning." sabi naman niya.

"Dont you know a place where we can drink?" tanong ko. Tumango naman siya.

We stopped by a near grocery store. He went to buy drinks. The alcoholic ones. Kumuha narin ako ng chips at kung ano pang pwede naming snacks for later.

We ended up in place na may river at sa malapit sa river bank ay bench and tables na nandun. So we set up our things there. Habang naglalakad papunta dun si Lucas, i noticed how tall he is. Wow, ngayon ko lang napansin.

"Staring is rude." and he chuckled. I rolled my eyes.

"I never thought you're this tall." sabi ko.

"Maliit ka lang." he teased. Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin.

He opened up a beer in can and hand it to me. Buti dito sa place na ito tahimik at walang storbo. It's shady kaya hindi mainit. 

"Care to share?" sabi niya. Umiling muna ako. Nagkwentuhan muna kami sa mga bagay bagay. Tulad nang mga basics about ourselves. Nauna ako.
