Rumplestiltskin's POV

Emma and I walk over to her small yellow car, going as fast as we can, it's been silent for a while, she got confused and stopped talking to me.

"So, Gold." She starts, but rudely, I interupt her.

"It's Rumplestiltskin now." I say calmly as though she hadn't even been talking. As I reach out to grab the door handle, she starts speaking again.

"Rumplestiltskin..." Correcting herself, she sits inside the car, closes the door and starts the engine. "How on Earth am I meant to get your magic back?" She looks at me confused before looking back out at the road.

It takes me time to think, then I realise. "I don't know..." I blert out, not wanting to sound stupid. I think and think until I can't think no more. I don't know! I don't know! My mind screams to me. How do I get my powers back? Then my mind clicks.

"How did Regina get her powers back, Miss Swan?" I then ask, watching her look at me through the corner of her eye.

"I... I erm." She hesitates, but there's no time to waste.

"You what?" I hiss evily, needing an answer and quick.

She then drives slowly, making sure she's being safe while she speaks. "Well earlier, we all went round to her house, most people wanting to kill her of course, but when we got there, me and David realised she couldn't be killed... So I pushed her back."

"And that's when she got her magic back, I'm assuming?" I butt in, not leaving time for her to continue.

"Well, erm.." She stuttters, yet again. I'm starting to get annoyed now, why can't she just get to the point?

I smack the car in frustration, causing her to eyes to widen with the shock. "Emma, if you don't mind, I don't have all day, in fact, time is running out fast and I need my magic. So please can you stop wasting my time and just get to the point." I try saying calmly, yet my frustration gets the better of me.

Still shocked, she opens her mouth to speak but can hardly get the words out. She closes her eyes and breathes. "Yes." her eyes open, locking on the road. "That's when she got her powers back."

"It is you!" I shout, a mix between joy and betrayal "you're still the one. You're now the source of magic." I put me hand on hers and she stares down at it confused, not knowing what I'm doing.

"What are yo-" She starts, but within seconds, it starts taking effect and she stops talking. Just watching.

My hand starts changing colour, from a pale peach to a scaley sort of pale green, then it crawls up my arm slowly, then faster and faster, turning a darker green, tightening my skin more getting rid of the wrinkles. She watches in horror as my eyes start growing and my hair curls into a scruffy bob. The pale green soon turns darker as it starts to reach my face, I know I'm almost me again.

I take my hand away from Emma and put it to my face, I feel so Rumplestiltskin. "Thankyou." I whisper to her, then looking out the window.

"Erm.. You're welcome." She says back, still unable to speak properly. "Why are you like that?" She then asks, gesturing towards my green hands.

"Hmm." I wonder outloud. Should I tell her, I mean, she did give me my magic back. "I'm the dark one. That's all you need to know."

"Oh. Okay." She says, stopping the car outside the clock tower. "Rumplestiltskin..." She whispers, staring out the window.

I walk out the door, finding it hard to see from the dark, but I see a silhouette. Testing my power, I click my fingers, creating a small flame from my hand and I walk over to the person on the floor.

"Belle!" I exclaim, "what are you doing here?" I ask, kneeling down. Her face is so delicate and soft as she lay sleeping against the wall, I don't want to awaken her. I put out the flame and reach my arms under her body, lifting her up. Her head rolls back and her legs dangle. I'm not used to carrying anyone, the last time I done this she was awake.

"Come on Gold, get her in, I'll drive you home." Emma says, leaning over to the car door I left open. With that, I lay Belle on the back seats and sit back inside. "Who is she? You know her don't you?" She asks quietly, being careful not to wake her up. The car starts moving again and I start to speak.

"Yes, I do know her." I say, trying to tell her as little information as possible, I look behind me and watch her sleep, My dear, Belle.

"Who is she? Why haven't I seen her around?" Emma starts asking, very eagre to know. She doesn't look at me, she keeps watching the road ahead.

I sit back normally in the car seat and breath out, I might as well just tell her. "Her name's Belle. You haven't seen her because Regina locked her up before the curse... twenty-eight years ago."  I growl when I mention the witches name. She's not really a witch, but she's one god damn bitch.

"What!" Emma shouts as silently as she can before putting the breaks on the car. "She's been locked up for twenty-eight years, really? Regina is such a cow! I should've let her die when I had the chance to!" Her face is almost red with anger and her voice was on the verge of a scream.

"Well you didn't, but thank you." I say, getting out the car. I open the back passanger door and lift Belle, being carefull not to wake her.

"Goodbye, Rumplestiltskin." Emma whispers as I close the door.

She reverses the car and drives off, smiling through the mirror. I then look down at Belle and stroke her head. "Lets take you to bed."
