I didn't even get to watch the show, since I was so tired out that I fell asleep as soon as I climbed on the bed. Dealing with Edward and his constant tease was mentally exhausting and his words kept ringing in my ears.

I found it hard to focus, especially since he was seating right beside me and the looks he would shoot when we made eye contact? Pervertish. Throughout the first four periods, I made sure to not look beside me at all, even when the teacher was explaining from his direction.

Thankfully we had etiquette lessons next. As it was particularly for the females, the males would spend the period on the football field and whatnot. As usual Mrs Griffin's lessons was boring. As she was Spanish, she had a strong English accent that would sound like lullaby to me whenever she talked, but because she had a good looking face coupled with a nice attitude, I couldn't bring myself to sleep during her class.

I was so exhausted when the class ended that I couldn't wait to leave as soon as she dropped the book. Since I was stuck with Lisa for the rest of this semester, I had to seat beside her during lunch and just when I thought I could manage, I saw shayne and her crew approaching and couldn't help but palm my face. If trouble was a person, then it should be named after Shayne.

The next classes went by easier and when it was closing time, I could swear I was the happiest to leave class. All I wanted was to pack my books and leave for the park but it seemed that fate had some other thing in store for me.

When I opened my locker, I was first greeted with the smell of flowers and when I took a look, I was surprised. It was decorated with Roses. In fact, it was a stark difference to how I left it in the morning.

I hated roses, I still do, even though I was not allergic to the smell, it sickens me so much. I mentally made a list of who the sender could be as I stared at it. First, I didn't have any admirers except Marcus, who I was sure wouldn't do such a dumb thing, plus it's been long since he asked me out. Moreover it wasn't like he was really serious about it.

And there was Edward, he would have been my main suspect if he had ever told me he liked me or acted as such. Except for the tease-hate relationship, there was nothing else between us.

I was still contemplating when I saw someone appear behind me. To be precise, it was a grim looking Edward and I couldn't help but wonder what I did to provoke him this time.

Regardless, I couldn't care less and shut my locker after I brought out my books. I would have the Janitor clean it later. I thought as I zipped my bag close.

...

“What is it this time” I asked with my hands on my hips, when he stood in my way. I tried to show my stance by appearing brave   because whenever I remembered what happened yesterday, my cheeks would burn and I hated that he was the one that put me in this state.

I became angrier when I saw him staring at my lips brazenly with no shame at all. “I appeared on the show yesterday”

He spoke coolly like he was talking about today's weather and that just made me angrier. I didn't know why but my emotions that had always been in check just had to burst out today, and it was all thanks to him.

I was also surprised that he was telling that to me, because that was the least thing I wanted to hear but when I understood the underlying meaning behind his words, I blushed hard and backed away from him.

Unfortunately for me, I hadn't walked far away from the locker when he stopped me earlier and only after a couple steps, I felt my back hit the locker and found it impossible to go further. Seeing that I was on a dead end, I tried to defend myself as I pointed at him.

“But I didn't agree to do anything though”

Half furious and half embarrassed at my own words, the hand that was pointing at him shook and I hated that the floor just wouldn't open up and swallow me up.

Nevertheless, I tried to convince myself that he wasn't going to do anything since we were in an open place but when I looked around and saw no one in sight, I couldn't help but shiver. All these happened within a minute and his words brought me back from my trance.

“I don't remember mentioning anything related to that. Or perhaps you were looking forward to it?” He questioned in a smug voice and I stuttered when I realized I had fallen into his trap.

“You, you you! No! When did I say that” all the while, even though we could be considered somewhat close, he was at least maintaining a safe distance but when he started moving forward, I felt my heart pounding in my chest.

My mind yelled for me to pick to my heels and escape, but my heart was saying otherwise. I found that I couldn't move my legs and stood rooted to the same spot.

“Really? Or are you sure? ” His mouth was just mere inches from my ear and I could feel the breath in his words. This time, I was able to take a good look at his face, although all that was coming out of his mouth was crude nonsense, his eyes held warmth that I couldn't help but soak in.

Suddenly, I felt a light featherlike touch on my lips and I would have doubted it if my eyes weren't open the whole time. He actually dared!! The peck left as soon as it came and I was left staring with my eyes wide opened.

I could still feel his warmth on my lips and when I finally came to reality with what he had just did, I became more furious. With a belly full of fury, I raised up my leg and stomped it on his foot.

..

   Third person P.O.V

Marcus who had been standing there earlier saw everything that happened and his fists was clenched so hard that his palms almost bled. He had read from a book that females liked romantic gestures and would swoon at the slightest gesture, so this time he had put in a lot of efforts into designing the locker. Even to the point that he designed it all himself.

He had composed a very long line that he would give to her when she saw the flowers and he already had that beautiful plan in his head. All glitz and glam just for Edward to interrupt at the last minute.

He was sure Edward had seen him, since he wasn't really hiding but because it was hidden from Cather's line of focus, she couldn't.

Of course, he blamed it all on Edward for always disrupting his plans from the very beginning and of all people he was interested in, it just had to be his girl.
