“It was preposterous. Absolutely absurd to think that Tom Marvolo Riddle could even feel. He never displayed his emotions, the only one was of pure malice and anger seething just below the thin surface.

He was cunning, cruel, deceiving and a professional when it came to manipulation. He knew things. Many things that would send you into total shock, cause the hairs on your neck to rise in alarm. People were petrified of him, knowing fully-well not to get on his bad-side, even though that was the only side revealed to us.

His message was clear as the purest of water. I am above you. Though that message was semi-lost when she came, almost as if he was in his own way of a trance. He kept a great deal of things from her, and she was oblivious enough to not see that. You could see the livid frustration in his electrical green eyes.

He felt like he couldn’t control her the way he controlled each and every one of us in his life.

“Of course, he would want to keep a firm grip on her, his ultimate conquest never revealed to us.”

Chapter 26

You know that moment when you first enter a certain place, and the atmosphere around you entirely changes?

Yeah, well that’s exactly how I felt.

As we entered the abandoned room, the air surrounding me became slightly thicker, and that foreboding feeling I had now been accustomed to settled itself in the center of my stomach, sending my heart into a speedy frenzy.

Considering it was an abandoned room, all light source was cut off, making the entire place have this strange, dark aura to it. There were absolutely no windows at all, and that simply made matters worse. Blankets of dust covered the stone floor, and extremely large spider webs were visibly seen at every corner. There were no desks, no old papers, and basically no nothing. The only sign of it being a previous classroom was a dust-littered blackboard with short-stubbed pieces of plain white chalk.

“Lovely, isn’t it?” I heard a more-than-amused voice say right by me without warning, causing me to jump a bit.

I felt the rumble of his chest as he chuckled at my reaction. I didn’t like this place at all, and I could tell my thumping heart and my churning stomach agreed with me!
