Chapter 13

"Oh I think I'm going to barf." I said weakly, feeling sickly green.

"Oh no you are not. Not in this car mudblood." Tom hissed maliciously.

We had been driving back from Diagon Alley, returning to the Riddle mansion in his precious car, or should I say ONE of his precious cars. Seriously what was up with guys and cars?

You would of thought that he'd of learned not to drive as quickly this time, but then again I've realized he's incredibly stubborn.

I reluctantly glanced at the speed needle, and chocked as the number clicked in my mind.

"Jesus Christ Tom you're going to get us killed!" I panted, all of a sudden craving some fresh air.

He easily shrugged it off with a wave of his hand in my direction carelessly.

"I've never gotten into an accident so why should I start now?" I bit my lower lip hard, resisting to yell at him, which I figured wouldn't help.

Dozens of bags shook in the back along with the two cages, except Bella was seated on my lap, her unclipped nails digging into my legs.

Tom was driving perfectly fine except for his speed limit, so I didn't know whether to be relieved he can actually drive or scared out of mine that he was going so fast.

"So are you bringing Nagini to Hogwarts?" I asked, both wanting to change the subject to calm down a bit, and curiosity really there.

He answered smoothly. "Apparently, serpents aren't allowed as pets, considering we can't seem to.....control them." He smirked a bit at the last part, knowing he could very well control anything, especially a serpent.

I slumped back a bit in my chair, glad that malicious serpent wasn't going to be starting term with us at Hogwarts.

"Oh great." Tom drawled out sourly.

"What?" I asked, perplexed.

"I'm hungry! Gross, curse these stupid human needs." I almost laughed a little at how exaggerated he was being.

"We're going to have to pull up and stop by a stupid restaurant or something." He muttered, irritation transparently readable.

I didn't complain, because honestly, I was hungry too. When was the last time we had even eaten anything, like six hours ago?

He muttered a few incoherent words as he parked the car next to a muggle restaurant.

"Should we bring the animals in too? I don't want something to happen..." I worried, concerned for Bella.

Tom scoffed. "Not unless you want that mole- rat yours to be man-slaughtered for food." I frowned, following him into the busy restaurant.

"What can I get you two to drink?" A waitress around her early twenties asked, her eyes drifting over to Tom almost magnetically.

"Hmm...how about some milk?" I asked, milk suddenly seeming like a nice idea since this was basically dinner.
