As soon as we get our food all conversation stops.
Mmm. It's really good food.
Dylan starts looking around. Probably looking for 'barbie'.
What's her name again?
Oh well.
His eyes light up after finding her.
I look in the same direction and see her sitting towards the back, closer to the bar.
"I'm going to go use the bathroom" he stands up and starts heading towards the bathroom; which is just past the bar.
I watch him as he walks past.
She doesn't seem to notice though.
Maybe she will on his way back.
After a couple of minutes Dylan reappears and this time as he walks by 'barbie' looks up.
I was right.
She watches him walk all the way back to the table and as soon as she sees that he is with me she gets up.
"Is she looking?" Dylan asks.
"She's actually on her way over here."
"Really. Okay play cool."
"Okay."
"Dylan... what are you doing here... with her." She says, her, like I'm the worse thing she could possibly imagine.
"Courtney. I didn't know you were here."
Ah. Courtney. That's her name.
"Yeah. Of course I'm here. What are you doing here?"
"I'm on a date."
"A date?!" She screeches.
"Yes. With this... lovely lady. Sapphire." He slightly paused after saying, this.
"Sapphire? You don't look like a gem stone." Courtney says.
"And you are?" I say sarcastically.
"I'm his ex-girlfriend, Courtney."
"Oh well if you're the ex then I'm lucky."
"What do you mean?"
Dylan gives me a look to shut up but I don't.
"If you're the ex then I know he will like me the best."
"How does that even make sense?"
"You are blonde with almost everything fake. Yes I'm blonde too but everything about me is real. I'm sure he would love to know what it's like to be with someone who isn't fake."
"You know nothing about me and Dylan loved everything about me."
"Sure he did."
"Ugh." She then stomps off.
"What the hell was that? She's not going to want me back now."
"Yes she is. Just trust me."
The rest of the night went pretty normal and went by quickly.
I'M TRYING TO GET A COUPLE CHAPTERS DONE TODAY TO MAKE UP FOR THE WAIT. HOPE THEY ARE OKAY. LOVE YOU ALL.
