Imagine: You're waiting for Logan and the band at the house you two shared. Today was their last day of recording for their new album, and the last song they recorded was one Logan wrote. He never let you hear it, or read the lyrics, but he had promised you that after they were done, he would sing it to you. You both decided to throw a party at your house after, and you've been preparing all day. With the food ready and set out on the counter, balloons all around, and a special "Congratulations" banner you spent a couple hours making hanging on the wall, all that's left to do is wait. "Honey! I'm home!" You spin around as you hear Logan's familiar voice as he opens the door, revealing a group of people behind him. "Logan! Guys! How was today?" You ask as you give each of them a hug. "Amazing! I'm so glad we finally got to record the last track!" Kendall exclaimed as he hugged you. "That's great! Don't be shy everyone! Make yourselves at home!" You wait as everyone files into the house, going off in different directions to converse and celebrate. Some in the kitchen, others in the living room, and James and Carlos led a small group out to the amazing patio Logan had helped you design after you two bought the house. Suddenly, you feel arms wrap around your waist from behind. "This looks amazing (Y/N). Thank You for doing all of this." Logan whispered into your ear before he kissed your cheek. "Anything for you guys. You've all worked so hard on this album, and it was the least I could do." "Baby, you've done more than you can possibly imagine..." You turn toward him and see his adorable crooked grin. "What does that mean?" He bends down and kisses you sweetly. "You'll see.." Logan walks away from you, leaving you there alone to wonder what he meant. About an hour passes by and you have talked with everyone who helped with the new album. Even people involved in the show stopped by, and Logan's parents arrived. He had no clue they would be there, but you had planned it as a surprise. You haven't seen Logan since he left you earlier, and you're wondering where he ran off to. "Hey! (Y/N)!" You turn to see James and Carlos running up to you. "Guys! What are you doing? Don't run in the house please! I don't need to be calling 911!" The three of you laugh as they stop in front of you. "Sorry! But we need to tell you something." Carlos says, out of breath. "And that would be...?" You begin to get worried. You wonder if someone got hurt, and where Logan is. "You need to be outside on the patio in five minutes!" James says hurriedly. "Why?" "Just do it! Please! Five minutes!" Both of them rushed back outside, and you just stand there. "What in the world...." You mumbled as you looked around. Everyone was laughing and talking, sharing memories and making plans, then there was you. All alone, no one to talk to, awkwardly standing there with nothing to do but wait for five more minutes. Waiting was the last thing you wanted to do. You took your phone out of your pocket and clicked onto twitter. There were many mentions, all involving your party and the finishing of the album. You started writing a tweet. "Waiting....Again. I wonder what I'm waiting for now...." You sigh as you press the button and watch the tweet appear on your screen. Instantly, you watch as many fans retweet and favorite it. You're still not used to all of the attention, even though you've been dating Logan for over a year now. You glance at the time on your screen. "Two minutes to go...." You put it back in your pocket as you look around. Most of the guests have seemingly vanished. "What?" You slowly make your way towards the patio door as you watch the last of the guests rush out the door. "I suppose it's better to be a little early than late.." You walk out the door and see everyone gathered around the large patio. Kendall, James, Carlos and Dustin are all sitting on stools at the far end of the patio, all wearing smiles as they see you. Logan however, is no where to be seen. Suddenly, you hear the sound of a microphone being turned on. "We are so happy all of you are here tonight!" Kendall starts. "It means so much to have your support! It's been a long journey, but here we are!" James exclaims as he looks over to Carlos, signaling his turn to speak. "And even though tonight is about the celebration of our new album, it's also about something much more important." Carlos grins at you as Dustin starts strumming something unfamiliar to you. After a few moments of silence, except for Dustin's guitar, you hear Logan's voice through the speakers. A few tears escape your eyes as you listen to the words. It's clear that this was the song he had written that he wouldn't let you hear. It was also clear that it was about you, but something about the message in the song was different. It wasn't only about your relationship, or the love you two shared. It was more. From the corner of your eye, you see Logan walking toward you. He stops directly in front of you and takes your hand. After a few more moments he stops singing as the other three take over humming the melody in the background. "(Y/N), I know we've been dating for just over a year now, but it's been the best time of my life. I can't imagine this past year even being possible without you. This album, and more importantly, this song, would be nothing without you, honestly. More importantly, I would be nothing without you. I would be lost without you. I can't imagine my life without you. The only way to show you exactly how I feel is by doing this..." He lets go of your hand and gets down on one knee as he pulls a little box out of his pocket. Logan looked back up into your eyes before speaking again. "I love you so much (Y/N), and I honestly don't think I could live my life without you by my side. Will you be Mrs. Henderson? Will you marry me?" You look into his eyes as you hear a collective silence around you two, everyone waiting on edge for your reply. "Logan, I love you so, so much....I wouldn't want to be with anyone else. Yes..." Before you know it, you hear everyone cheer as Logan places a beautiful ring on your finger. He stands up and kisses you before pulling you into a hug. "I've literally been waiting months for this day!" He says to you over the cheering. "Well, why did you wait until now?" "Because, I wanted everything to be done. The album recorded and ready to release, the newest season of the show all filmed, everything. I wanted to wait until we would have some time off to plan for the wedding and get married. We only have a few things scheduled for the next 6 months before our next tour, so I will be home for almost all of the planning and preparation. I knew you would want that (Y/N). Then, right before we go on tour, we can get married. I've already talked to the guys, and they said it's perfectly fine for you to come on tour with us, and we have a couple weeks off during the tour in multiple places, each break is about three days long. So I was thinking the tour could be like our pre-honeymoon, and then we could go on a real honeymoon after we get back...What do you think?" By now, a few more tears have escaped your eyes. Logan lightly wipes them away with his thumb. "Logan, it's perfect. This is perfect. You're perfect." He kisses you again. "No, you're perfect (Y/N)." "We're perfect.." He kisses you as you hear everyone congratulating you. Just then, Logan's parents walk over to you. "Congratulations! We are so happy to have a new member of the family!" His mom says as she hugs you. "Well, not yet..." You blush as his dad hugs you. "A wedding and marriage certificate mean nothing! You two love each other, very much. You're already part of the family!" "Thanks You so much! But, did you know about this?" You look to Logan and see him blush before you continue talking. "I thought I invited your parents as a surprise for you?" "You did...But I invited them because I was planning to propose to you. By the time you called, they had already planned to come tonight." You lightly shove Logan before he pulls you into another hug. "You trickster Logie! And here I thought I was surprising you!" You both laugh before he kisses you again. Just then, your phone goes off and you check it. You have a twitter notification. "@(Your twitter username), was this worth waiting for?" You read the tweet Kendall mentioned you in. Attached is a picture with Logan down on one knee, holding the little box in front of you. "Logan, is it ok that Kendall basically just told the whole world about us...?" You ask as you show him the screen. He smiles before looking back up into your eyes. "Of course! I love you! I wouldn't want to hide this, even if my life depended on it." He kisses you again before you get an idea. You take your phone in your right hand and hold Logan's right hand with your left. "What are you doing?" He asks you as he looks down with a confused expression. "Confirming the fact that we are engaged." You smile at him before snapping the picture, making sure to get a clear shot of the ring. Then you take a picture of you and Logan. After a few minutes of editing, you are ready to tweet. "@HeffronDrive This was definitely worth the wait! I'm so happy right now, I can't even describe it! I love you @1LoganHenderson! <3" You attach the picture you edited, which it a photo grid with both the picture of the ring and the picture of you and Logan. You hit the button and as soon as the tweet is sent you see the buzz it gets. Logan takes out his phone and smiles at you before typing something. Soon, you hear your phone go off again and you look at the screen. "I love you more @(Your twitter username)! I can't wait for you to be Mrs. Henderson <3" You soon type a reply. "Me neither <3" You look into Logan's eyes and he kisses you again. "I love you (Y/N), forever and always." "Forever and always..." You reply before kissing him again. You were both unaware of the celebration happening around you, but you could care less. All that matters is the fact that you know you are exactly where you belong. With the love of your life, Logan. Forever and always...
