The next two days seemed happier and brighter for Derek and Alyssa. Both were now smiling and talking to each other. Despite Alyssa hiding Ally, she didn't let it influence her relationship with Derek. All she had to now was think of an excuse to go see Ally. She planned to tell Derek eventually, after she believed they trusted each other again and meanwhile learn about Scott.

"Derek, I'm thinking of seeing Mrs Simons, the counselors, after school. If that's okay?" Alyssa lied. The only cover-up she could think of.

"Course it is, how long will it be so I know when to pick you up?"

"I don't know, maybe an hour because it's my first time seeing her, and I'm sure Principal Crossley would want to talk to me about it."

"Sure thing."

Derek drove Alyssa to school and dropped her off before driving to the BAU. He reached his desk and was greeted by the team who had already arrived before him.

"How are you and Alyssa?" Prentiss asked

"We're doing good. Alyssa felt really bad about the whole thing, and I believe she's really learnt her lesson now. "

"That's great."

At the end of the day, Alyssa stayed in the crowded hallway, filled with eager kids, rushing to get home. Completely oblivious as to who they pushed to get through the door. Alyssa leaned against the wall and pulled out her phone and the piece of paper with Ally's number written down. She typed in the number and sent Ally a message.

Alyssa
Hey, it's Alyssa. Sorry for not messaging earlier. Can we meet up now?

Ally

That's great, I'll send my address

Ally's message came through, and Alyssa walked down the hallway to find Ally's place.

"Alyssa," a voice called from behind. The girl turned, and Principal Crossley walked toward her. "I'm surprised to see you here,"

"I was just leaving Principal Crossley," Alyssa informed, ready to turn around and walk away.

"Did you think about our conversation over the past two days, about seeing Mrs Simons?" His tall height towered over her, looking at her with his dark eyes

"I'm still thinking about it, but I'll let you know when I decide," Alyssa said quickly and walked away before he could say another word. Wind flew through her hair from her fast speed. She exited the school and turned the corner, scanning street signs to find Ally's house. After walking from street to street, she found her destination, an apartment block in stood before her. The block was tall but not taller than the trees surrounding it. She pushed through the glass door that brought her inside. It was a small room with stairs on the right. In the left corner was a door where a sand colored sign was screwed in on top of it. Laundry Room it read in bold letters. She walked up the first staircase, which led to a small open hallway with black doors in the grey concrete walls. At the end of the cold hallway was another flight of stairs. Alyssa glanced at Ally's address. No. 6. She counted the gold letters on the black doors. 1, 2, 3, 4. She climbed up the second flight of stairs. 5, 6. Alyssa came to a halt at the door. Identical to the others. She hesitantly knocked a few times and waited. She heard indistinct conversations on the other side. The girl tried listening, leaning closer to the door but failed to distinguish the words being spoken. The door opened, and Alyssa took a step back immediately. Ally appeared with a child hiding behind her leg. The child looked about 3 years old and clearly very shy.

"Alyssa, welcome, come in," Ally greeted, taking a step back, along with the reluctant child, to let Alyssa in and close the door behind her. Ally turned around and picked up the child, walking Alyssa to the couch. Through the door, you entered the living room, which, like the apartment block itself, was quite small. The couch was an orange or brown colour with toys dotted on the floor in front of it. Ally sat down, and Alyssa sat down next to her but turned to face her. Her blue eyes met with the child's brown eyes. "This is Destiny, my daughter," she introduced, Destiny had the same features as Ally like her hair and eyes.

"She's so cute," Alyssa answered, and Ally thanked her. "By the way, I can't stay long. I hope that's okay. "

"Of course it is. So what did you want to know about your parents?" Ally skipped right ahead to the subject to save time for the teenager sat beside her.

"All of it"
