Chapter 13

(Amalia's POV)

Third day. 10.47am. Breakfast, an omelet with coffee. Currently, bored.

I groaned in exasperation. I was getting restless and was constantly having to change positions, as my ass was getting numb. Deciding enough was enough, I screamed out.

'ERIC!!!!!'

Sure enough, I had the thundering sound of feet, before the door slammed open, revealing a panic stricken Eric. He frowned.

'What's with the shouting? Are you okay?'

I pouted, angrily.

'No I'm not okay. I've been tied to a bed for the past three days. I've learnt my lesson, you can let me go now.' I lied. Eric raised his eyebrows.

'Oh really?'

'Yes.' I nodded.

He moved closer to the foot of the bed.

'Oh, really?' He asked again.

'Yes.' I rolled my eyes. Before I knew it, he had moved with lightning speed and was now hovering over me, our noses touching. My eyes widened at the sudden close proximity.

'I think you're lying.' He said, more to himself than to me.

'I'm not lying. You can't keep me here forever.' I argued.

He grinned. 'Oh I believe I can.' My stomach dropped. Yes of course, I'm going to be here forever because he won't let me go.

'Just please, I'm going crazy. I need to stretch my legs. I need to get out of these chains. I need to feel the grass on my bare feet. I need my God given freedom back' I ranted, feeling exhausted from stressing every syllable. I stared him in the eyes, not backing down. He moved his head back, in.... surprise, then he leaned down and pecked my nose.

'EWWWW. What the hell?' I screamed, a look of hurt passed his face, before a smirk replaced it.

'Scared you got my wolf cooties?' He smirked.

'Let me out of these chains, now.'

Eric's eyes searched my face, sighing.

'Okay.'

He sat on my stomach, his legs at either side of my waist, holding his weight off of me. He leaned forward and I heard a click sound before the chains fell off my wrists. I rubbed them voluntarily, and looking at Eric in confusion. How did he unlock them without a key. The corner's of his lips turned upwards slightly, before a full blowing grin erupted on his face.

'There's a button to unlock them.'

I grabbed the chains and looked at them. Sure enough, right where my wrists were cuffed were two small buttons, that you pushed down and the cuffs springed open.

I screamed in agonised frustration.

***

(Eric's POV)

I couldn't keep the shit eating grin off of my face at Lia's reaction to the fact that she was never actually locked in chains in the first place, she just thought she was.

'Lia.' I whined sarcastically, both of us lounging on the grass. She turned around at me, her gorgeous eyes glaring at me, before turning back around and staring out into the woods. It had been two hours since the incident, and Lia hadn't spoken to me since, except for the odd snort and scowl. We had walked around the backyard, just at the edge of the woods. At least, she didn't try and run away and it gave me the time to properly study her. She walked more on her left foot than her right, with her hips thrust slightly forward than her shoulders. She had natural strands of gold and mahogany in her walnut brown hair that ended at her mid-back. The green dress she was wearing, courtesy of some ex-lay of Reynard's, was tight around her stomach, defining her curves and showing the portruding shape of a belly button ring, which made my mouth water.
