Harry and Olivia were walking hand in hand down the street, while talking about the day that fortunately quickly passed.

The light wind messing his curly hair up as his girlfriend laughed at its current shape, before she ran a hand through it.

Olivia kissed his little ear as the wind started to mess her hair too - they both started giggling like idiots - until a few barks interrupted the adorable moment they shared.

Harry froze and instantly squeezed her hand, trying to get her to walk again.

"C'mon, Olivia. Let's walk away.", Harry tugged her towards him as Olivia's hazel eyes looked at the direction she heard the barks coming from.

She quickly followed Harry and as he wanted to continue the conversation, the barks stopped them once again - but this time, they were closer.

"Ollie...", he tugged her once again as he started to worry.
"C'mon...", Harry whispered quietly.

The girl turned her head towards the street on her right and Harry stopped breathing for a second at the sight of a growling dog in front them.

Harry assumed it was a bulldog - due to its size and a few parts of his body he recognized - his eyes stopped at his sharp teeth as breathing for Harry became an issue.

"Baby...", Harry almost wanted to cry as the dog walked towards them, barking like crazy.
Olivia put herself in front of him and looked at the dog attentively and slowly started taking small steps backwards, never breaking eye contact.

Harry wanted to run, he was very tented until Olivia held his hand and whispered: "Never show a dog your weak side. Especially when they're angry."

"You have to show them who's the alpha right now, Harry. And it's not him.", she repeated quietly.

The dog slowly stopped barking and his eyes started losing the hatred and anger they once had.

"Take out from my bag the piece of bread that I have. Slowly, Harry.", Harry quickly followed her words, without having the guts to meet the black dog's eyes.

"Our dogs are sweet.", Harry murmured as he passed the bread to Olivia.

She got close to him and the dog looked at her, not sure if she was about to do something bad.
Olivia let slowly the piece of bread fall on the road, and the dog started to sniff the unknown food before eating it.

"We trained the dogs, Harry. This dog is probably not trained properly."

The dog gently barked and Olivia fed him once again, and gently caressed its head.

"You're pretty when you're not angry.", she told the dog, while it ate.

Harry looked at her and wished to have the same courage to stand up for the both of them like that.

The pitbull finished and after licking Olivia's face, it ran towards the street it came from.
Olivia slowly stood up from the position she was in, and walked towards Harry.

"What's wrong, baby? You alright?", she hugged his torso.
"Thank you for what you've done. That was admirable, love.", Harry murmured slightly embarrassed.

"I wish I could do something like that too.", he whispered.
"You saved me from plenty of spiders, Harry! That's heroic! This was nothing!", she exclaimed as Harry blushed at her words.

"Let's go, before it comes back.", they giggeld and continued to walk.
