"Is this mummy's new home?", little Meredith pointed towards the graveyard with her tiny finger and Harry only nodded with his head and grasped her tiny hand in his.

Harry had to open the black gate with the little girl's help and together they walked inside the forgotten place.
Leaving a flower on each grave they passed by, before they reached the one they came for.

Olivia Madden.
24/9/1991 - 3/7/2018

When Olivia and Harry got married, Harry had asked her why she didn't want to take his last name. Olivia had smiled at his sad expression; Harry thought that there was a problem or something, but then Olivia explained that she wanted to keep her last name. She said that if she had taken the last name 'Styles', she would have felt under someone else's property and that was something she didn't necessarily want. Olivia quickly reminded him that she loved him too much and that her love could never depend on the name she has after her own.

Harry found it brave of her and he respected her decision. Then when the little girl came, things started to get complicated. The doctors explained multiple times that there wasn't really a chance for the woman to survive. Yet she did; a couple years of happiness they all got to spend together, until her breathing started becoming slow and her smile forced.
Olivia wanted little Meredith to take her father's last name, but Harry disagreed and gave her hers. It was a hard reminder, but he needed that.

"Can we change these flowers, daddy? They are all brown and weird.", little Meredith pointed at the flowers and Harry did as he was told before their daughter put the flowers on the grave.
"You still love mummy, right?", Harry smiled and muttered a weak 'yes'.
Little Meredith smiled also.
"Me too."

The anniversary of her death was a day where Harry was not Harry anymore. He was not happy, he was not sad or angry. He was numb and that was a scary feeling for the little girl beside him, who simply tried to cheer him up. Before her mummy died, she had told her that soon she was going to play with the angels and that's something that little Meredith kept to herself. She believed that her mummy was happy, then why couldn't she?

"Do you want to say something to mummy, baby?", Harry looked down to meet cheery brown eyes.
The little girl nodded her head and dramatically cleared her throat.
"Uhm, hi. I love you. Uhm, your turn, daddy.", she pressed her lips in a tight line and looked at her father who was fighting the urge to smile.

"Thank you for taking care of us. Love you.", he quietly said, making the little girl's heart melt.
"Let's go, daddy. Mummy said she was going to make lunch for herself. I'm starving!", the little girl looked up at the sky and smiled, before taking Harry's hand and walking away.
