I woke up with a smile on my face. I hadn't slept like that since my Mom died.
When I felt something behind me, I stiffened. I slowly turned my head to see what it was. I saw a glimpse of black hair and screamed. I panicked and fell off the end of the bed and landed hard on my ass.
"What!? What is it!?" a familiar voice panicked from above.
Colton's voice. It was Colton? Soon the memories from last night flooded back. Right. He'd let me stay with him last night. I must have been really tired.
"Jeez, Baby Girl, that was not the wake up I was hoping for," he whined, holding his right ear.
"Sorry," I groaned.
He leaned over the bed to help me up. I stood up and rubbed my sore ass and groaned in pain.
"Want me to kiss it better?" he asked in a husky voice.
"Stop it," I growled and shoved his chest.
"Hard to get, huh? I love that game," he said.
I ignored his comment and headed for the door without a word.
"Wait. Krissy," he pleaded.
I turned around at the door looking at him expectantly, waiting for an answer. If he called me Baby Girl I would have left.
"Don't be mad at me," he begged.
"Why not?" I demanded.
"It's in my nature to act like this," he said, walking towards me. "When I see something I want...well let's say I'm very determined.
"And what is it you want?" I asked. But I had a good idea what it was.
"Isn't it obvious?" he was standing so close, I could feel his breath on my neck. "You," he said.
I felt butterflies beginning in my stomach again. Shivers ran through me.
His yes dropped from mine, to my lips. Oh my Josh! (Yes I meant Josh) Was he going to kiss me?
His eyes closed shut and he started to lean into me. Call me a chicken, but I backed up and put my hand on his chest so he stayed back.
"Colton?" I said uncertain.
He sighed and opened his eyes. I shook my head.
"Don't," I said softly.
He nodded sadly. "Look, there's a party tonight further in the city. Want to go? With me?" he asked.
I laughed a little. "Like my dad would let me go anywhere," I laughed.
"It's called lying, I've seen you do it before," he reminded.
"I don't know if I can do that again. I still feel bad about last time," I explained.
"Trust me," he said.
I sighed and looked away, thinking about it.
He used his two fingers and moved my chin so me face was to his. "Trust me," he said agin.
I sighed, and nodded. "Okay, fine," I agreed.
He smiled. "Great. We leave at six," he said.
I nodded and left down the hall. Another party. This should be interesting.

I was in my room getting ready at around quarter to, when there was a knock at my door.
"Come in," I called.
Just as I suspected, Colton came in.
"Almost ready?" he asked.
"Yup, hold on," I said, fixing my earring. I grabbed my purse and walked over to him.
"Is it okay?" I asked, turning around so Colton could see my outfit.
He was looking me over slowly with a painful expression.
"Uh...y-yeah. Its perfect," he stuttered.
I giggled a little and pointed to my eyes. "Up here, Colton," I directed.
"Right, sorry," he snapped out of it.
I hadn't seen him like this. Like a fool. He usually acted a lot more confident.

Just as the first party, I could feel my heart thump in my chest with the music when I first walked in.
"Don't wander. Stick around," Colton instructed.
I nodded and stayed close to his side. All around, people were either drunk, getting drunk or making out.
Colton handed me a cup. "For you," he said.
I had no doubt it was alcohol. "Thanks," I said.
It was the summer and I was prepared to live a little. Maybe even love a little.

After a few hours of drinking and dancing with Colton, I was finally drunk once again.
"I'll be right back," I informed Colton.
He nodded. "Okay hurry back," he said.
I went off in search for a bathroom. It wasn't hard to find on the top floor.
When I came out I felt strong arms wrap around me. I smiled when he started kissing me neck.
"Colton," I giggled.
He lead me into a dark bedroom on our left. I giggled as he shut the door behind us.
I turned around to face him. Except it wasn't Colton. I had never seen this guy before. I gasped and tried to break free from his arms. He held me tight to him.
"Hi there," he said in a low voice.
I screamed for Colton.
