Y/n's pov.

I woke up with a light shining down my eyes, an oxygen mask was on my face and I was feeling drowsy. I realize I'm lying down on a bed that is positioned up.

" Y/n " a familiar voice speaks.

I know that voice.

" Jae? " I asked as I turn my head.

" Your awake " I look in front of me and see Landon and the others.

" You were in the surgery for only an hour, this is two hours later " Landon said.

" Where's Louise? " I asked.

" Who? " Aphmau asked.

" Your brother, right? " Ein asked, I slightly nod.

" He went out to check on Meghan " Catherine said, I got up.

" I need to see hi- " I grunted when a sharp pain was on my abdomen.

" Easy, your stitches are still fresh " Jae push me back down.

" Did you know who shot you? " Ein asked.

" It's none of your business " I said.

" Your phone screen cracked when you dropped it " Garroth place down my phone on the table next to the bed.

" Now, tell us what you were going to tell us about Carter, last time, someone interrupt " Ash said.

I sigh.

" He- " the door swung open and revealed a girl with blond hair and green emerald eyes.

" Coraline " I said.

" What the hell happened?! " She rushes as Zane and Zenix enters.

" Guys, it's just a shot " I said.

" Just a shot?, One bullet can take one life, Y/n " Zane said.

" You " Zenix looks at Ein.

" It could've been you! " Zenix pins him to the wall by griping his collar shirt.

" I was beside her the entire time, how can I possibly shot her then be here after that? " Ein growls.

" Zenix " I call, he looks at me.

" This is a hospital, Louise can kick you out whoever he wants, whenever he wants " I said.

" He works here? " He lets go of Ein.

A nurse enters.

" Oh my, excuse me, limited visitors should be five " she said.

It was Grace.

" Ein and I will stay, you guys can go " Jae said.

" You guys can go, I believe we're going to have a private conversation " I said.

" Than I shall hear it " Zenix said.

I notice a pen on the table, so I grab it and threw it at him but ended up grunted in pain.

" Okay, okay!, I'll go " Zenix exits along with the others.

" You weren't wrong " Ein said, I look at him and our eyes landed on each other.

Again, his eyes just looks at mine as I feel something inside my stomach.

" Stop that " I said.

" The thing you do with your eyes, it's rude to stare " I said and he looks away.
