Back in high school you were an awkward couple, he was the silent and reserved type and you were the super sweet and outgoing type, at least, that's what you always portrayed. But Aizawa saw through all that and noticed how sad and alone you were in your home life, so he never complained whenever you wanted to hang out, he genuinely enjoyed your company.
An incident, however, happened in your second year of high school which made you show your true tendencies that had been kept away for too long, it was too much for you and by the end of the day you couldn't take it anymore, you wanted out. So you left, you couldn't pretend to be something you weren't any longer you left it all behind and found peace...in chaos.
It wasn't the best idea but you still went through with it leaving everything in your past behind. Aizawa felt partly accountable for this incident and still holds feelings for you from high school and in all honesty, you do too.

The two of you have been friends for a while since the day your younger brother, Mirio and him met. you had been intrigued by his extremely shy nature and wanted to know more about him. You were always into medicine and human anatomy, you loved figuring out how the body worked and unfortunately for him, Tamaki was your guinea pig for some of your experiments, mainly because you loved his quirk and wanted to see him use it so you'd always cook for him which he didn't mind because honestly, who's gonna deny free food?
Sure you were a year older than him but you were much more childish than him. he's always catching you do something stupid usually resulting in your injury and he'd always help you whenever you got hurt. it kind of worked well apparently because you two spent a lot of time together. You'd always try and get him to talk out more and help him with his confidence and he's always carrying band-aids because somehow some way you're injuring yourself due to your overly experimental nature.
A mutual friendship that slowly turned into a close romance.
