"That's amazing y/n" gushed Midoryia.

The two of you were walking through the park after having a full day of just walking and talking about each other, you had your earmuffs on but you read lips so you were fine.

"So you can really hear things before they even happen?"

"Everything in a two mile radius."

"Wow your quirk's super practical for rescue missions," He listed all the properties that your quirk could do, "You could hear people trapped in certain places, catch bad guys before they even commit a crime."

"Yeah, but it's not all that it's cracked up to be." Your eyes dimmed.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Well, it's not exactly that great to have on 24/7, I can't exactly control and choose what I get to hear, so it gets kinda hard when there's a fire in another town, and I can hear everyone's screams, or there's an earthquake in another district and I can't do anything about it...or when I want to do simple things like listen to music or even walk outside, it's hard to do anything when you can hear everything...that's why I wanted to be a hero, it sounds selfish but, I just want the world to be quiet and calm for once....where I can't hear people's grievances."

"I'm so sorry I had no idea." Izuku apologised realizing how horrible your quirk could be on you.

"But it's not all bad, if I really try listening I can hear the lotto numbers being drawn before it's announced so that's cool." You joked.

"Yeah, that is kinda cool, I just have enhanced strength."

"Yeah, I saw you at the sports festival a couple months ago, you were awesome!" You smiled excitedly.

"Y-you really think so?" he scratched his head nervously.

"Absolutely, you were all like *bam!, boom! Crash! Bash! An explosion of awesomeness is was the most amazing thing I had ever seen!"

"You like explosions?" he asked taken a back due to your quirk.

"I don't like hearing them but seeing it is a whole other story, when blazes of fire sparking bright colour is a beautiful sight, I kinda sound crazy what with my quirk and all don't I?" You laughed nervously.

"No-no, you're not crazy." He scratched the back of his head nervously then noticed a poster on a nearby tree, his eyes widened which caught your attention so you asked if he was alright to which he promptly asked.

"Hey, what time is it?"

"Huh? It's 6pm, why?"

"Come with me!" he smiled dragging you along towards the edge of a large pond "And keep your earmuffs on!"

"What's going on?" you asked worryingly.

"Just watch..." He motioned towards the sky, you obliged and looked at the blank night sky. After a few moments, however, you saw bright explosions in the sky; Your eyes widened in amazement.

"Wow...what are those?"

"You've never seen fireworks?"

"So that's what those are called" You never took your eyes off of the sky. "No, I haven't...when I was small, I lived in the country with my grandmother deep in the mountains where it was quiet, it was only a few years ago was when I moved into the city with my grandfather."
