Mortals Meet

Austin's POV:-
"Okay, so you do the history of the poet while I'll finish the symbolic level of the poem." said Annabeth as she pushed the massive pile of sheets sprawled all across the floor.
"As you say Madame. Your wish is my command." I said while suppressing a chuckle. Annabeth laughed aloud and then told me to go back to doing my work. Then suddenly the door to the house opened. Annabeth looked up at me ad raised her eyebrow as though I had invited someone over. I shook my head indicating that I had called no one. The she got up carefully making sure that no papers moved out of their place. She went down and I followed her down. When I reached the bottom the stairs I saw a Bobby and Matthew there, but they weren't there when I got here and Mr. and Mrs. Chase are out for a meeting so how in the world did they come back. I'm actually confused. Then Annabeth put her hands on her hips raised one eyebrow up and asked the boys,

"Where had you gone?"

"Well actually we had gone you know..." both the boys trailed off and might I add that they had suddenly gained interest in their shoes.

"Well I actually don't know." said Annabeth.

"What? For the first time Wise Girl doesn't know anything. Interesting." said  a voice. Annabeth and me turned our heads towards a guy not more than the age of 18 who was sitting on the couch drinking coke.

"PERCY?" Annabeth yelled. She than ran towards 'Percy'.

"Hey Wise Girl miss me?"

"What are you doing here?"

"Well your dear brothers called and said that they were getting bored because you were busy studying and they wanted me to come so that we could go to the beach."

"Percy you live in New York! How did you get here so fast?"

"I have my sources." said Percy who had Annabeth now seated on his lap. Her arms were circled around his neck and her legs on the couch.

"Percy, we called you here so that you can play with us! Let's go!" Bobby whined.

"Wait Bobby I will take you to the beach. But first I need to convince my girlfriennd and her lovely friend to join us." said Percy motioning his hand towards me,

Annabeth began to protest that we had too much work to finish and we couldn't come but before her ramble continued he kissed her. That kiss turned into something else. Just as the kiss was getting to intense the door opened to reveal Mr and Mrs chase. They were having a discussion about something and when they looked towards us. Mr Chase just cleared his throat. Percy and Annabeth broke apart and Percy got off the couch and went to say hi to Annabeth's parents. While this was happening Annabeth walked up towards me and said,

" Beach?"

10 minutes later we were all at the beach enjoying the sun and having a blast. Percy is a cool guy. Now it makes sense as to why she said no to those uncountable number of guys.
