Mia's POV:-
Night had taken over day, dark clouds had taken over the sun and everyone's happiness was replaced with sadness. After the Giant War some random ass demon gravely injured Annabeth Chase. She has been unconscious ever since. Percy never left her side. He hardly ate. Jason and Grover would have to literally drag him out of the infirmary everyday. What had they done deserve a fate so twisted.
One day I was at the infirmary waiting for my boyfirend to come out. When I saw Percy next to Annabeth's bed singing a song. What he sang made me want to laugh at the irony but cry at how heart felt it was. Percy Jackson the ultimate demigod could sing and might I add really well. He started strumming the tune to the song and me being the fangirl I am recognized it immediately.
"I figured it out

Percy sang in the most beautiful voice ever. His voice cracked towards the end and what he said after that made my heart melt.
"Please come back wise girl. I can't do this without you. I love you." Seeing no evident response for ten minutes Percy got up to leave. Just when he was going to go. Annabeth said in a faint whisper,
"You promised you would never leave."
Percy then turned back around and took to long strides towards her. Put his forehead to hers and said,"Never."
I didn't realize I was crying until my boyfriend stood in front of me and wiped my tears off and said, "I cant be no Percy Jackson but I will definitely be your forever." He said it with so much sincerity that I realized life is a fragile thing and it is never and I mean NEVER meant to be taken for granted.
