Kara x Connor: Parents

After returning from Canada, we had found our own place. Connor had offered to look after Alice in Luther's place. I found the gesture very kind as Luther had sadly sunk while we were escaping Detroit.

"Alice, want to play in the garden?"Connor asked while they were watching a cartoon on the tablet. It's sweet, he's already like a father to her. I'm glad she's happy here. They went outside and she pulled him towards the swings, asking him to push her. I chuckled and walked outside, watching the cute pair have fun.

She was amazing, and I was glad Hank managed to convince the letting agents to allow androids to live alone. I was pushing Alice and her giggles were warming my heart. I had noticed Kara sitting over on the bench, and I winked at her and called her over. She was a lovely android, and I had started to develop feelings for her.

"Hello, Mr Detective~. Having fun Alice?" She asked her child, I had caught onto the flirt and made a note to call her up on it later.

"Yeah! Mr Anderson's really nice!" She nodded and ruffled her hair, and kissed my cheek. I blushed blue and chuckled. We each took turns playing with Alice until the sun had started to set.

"Shall we go in ladies?" We laughed and headed in for the night.

We were heading upstairs, and I saw Alice tug on Connor's jacket. "Mr Anderson? C-Can you be my dad?" I stopped dead in my tracks, she wants him to, stay here and be her father?  Shaking my head, I hurried up the stairs and into Alice's room. Connor was reading her a story and her eyes were gleaming. Leaning against the doorway, I smiled to myself.

"Alright sweetie, we'll read the rest tomorrow, ok?" She nodded and giggled.

"Ok, dad!" He chuckled and kissed her forehead, leaving the room and turning the lights off. I looked him in the eye and kissed him gently.

"Dad huh?" He winked and we sat down in our bedroom.

"We'd make pretty good parents Kara Adams. How does Alice Anderson sound?"

I gave them last names! I think it sounds quite sweet, and Alice now has a dad! This took me some time, I didn't know if I should've also added Alice's pov, but I think it's alright. Hope you enjoy it, it was really fun to write!
