Maddie’s POV

Unf. I fell off my bed and went straight down to the floor.

“Ouch, what the heck?” I shouted while frustrated.

“Come on! Get up!” The voice said to me; grabbing my arm.

“What’s going on?” I asked; rubbing my eyes to unblur my vision.

“Just come on!” She shouts; pulling me out the door and downstairs.

“Rach, what’s going on?” I repeated.

“Look” she says and plops me down on the couch.

I look up at her in confusion and she points to the television.

“Megan Barkley, here” They reporter says with a fake smile.

Ugh. Megan Barkley. She’s the most popular celebrity reporter in Hollywood because she always gets the best news about celebrities out there.

I heard that, 3 years ago she ruined Johnny Kane’s music career by reporting some false stuff about him and spreading gossip throughout the world.

“And today I have a big surprise for all you Drew Parker fans that are watching Megan Barkley Live right now. In 1 minute I am about to have the conversation you’ve all been waiting for…” She stops for suspense effect.

“What Drew Parker wants in a girl!” She said in amusement.

“Ahhhhh!” Rachel screams while doing a weird dance.

 I give her a ‘are-you-serious?’

“Sorry” She says and stops dancing and screaming.

I stopped giving her that look and continued to listen to this stupid lady.

And honestly, I couldn’t help but feel slightly interested to watch this. I mean I know I hate Drew, but he’s nice in some ways. But he still is that jerk, insensitive, player who thinks he knows everything, but, I just couldn’t help but listen.

I watch the television and see Drew walk to the sofa chair next to Megan.

“Hey, Drew, how ya been?” Megan asks.

“Hey, Megan, and I’ve been good. Very good.” He says; using his signature smirk.
