"Sir? Sir, can you hear me?" The voice of a young man echoed through my mind. I groaned in response, allowing my eyes to open a sliver, then wincing back under the hot bright sun.
"Is he conscious?" Asked another man.
"Guys, this is Al's..." The third man hesitated, "Well you know what I mean. The second he finds out this kid's got a heat stroke..." Silence again.
I gulped silently, I didn't know what they were talking about...what would Alex do to me?
"So it's definitely a heat stroke, you're sure?" Came the second voice.
"Yes Tyler, it's got to be, what else would it have been...a concussion?" Replied the third man, laughing a little as he said concussion as if it was irrational I could get one.
My eyes were fully open now, still getting used to the sun but also noticing shadowed figures around me. My eyes adjusted more and I realized they were kneeling down next to me. The three wore vests that read in bold letters: Paramedic.
I give up.
Hey guys! sorry for the short chapter and sorry it was so bad, I ran out of ideas but I'm always churning more. Thanks for reading!!!
