"Well, then, I have to go off to check some patients, feel free to take a nap, um, Ethan turn the lights off,"

"What about all of them?" I asked, still nervous.

"Everyone, he came, if he doesn't want to be checked out leave,"

Soon everyone piled out the door, flooding out into the hallway.

"Evan," Alex said, kneeling down to me. My heart hammered inside my chest, and it felt like, with every thump, it rose. "If anything is bothering you, let me know, I'll do what I can to help." He smiled and then left.

My stomach hurt from nerves and I was nauseous, so I quickly acted. "Um, Ethan?" I asked, careful not to let any vomit pass my throat.

"Hm?"

"Where would the restrooms be?" I asked.

"Over here." he showed me, and I quickly ran in.

I came out and must have looked pale or more sickly than usual because Ethan asked me if I was okay.

"No, I'm good," I said, sucking air in.

"Just...Sit down," Ethan said, leading me to the bed. "Take a nap, I'll turn off the lights, you had a long day."

"Okay," I whispered, wanting to be back in New York.
