My favorite thing to write is dramatic sad stuff. I like to think I'm not totally awful at it either.

You were walking down the beach barefoot with Melody. Three days had passed since you first arrived and nothing had changed. Big C planned on leaving tomorrow to go to a different world.

Melody was stomping in the sand beside you. She wore a fancy pink dress and her hair was down.

"What's wrong Melody?" You asked as you picked up a shell and tossed it into the waves.

"My parents are driving me crazy." She muttered. "They act like I can't take care of myself."

"They just worry about you Melody. That's what parents do, and trust me if you were forced to be away from them for a long time...", You crossed your arms, "It's one of the big things you'd miss."

Melody frowned, "Where are your parents?"

You didn't answer for a long time. Where were they? You tried not to think about it, but did they end up going to Korea without you or did they stay home? They probably thought you were dead though that's for sure.

"[Name]!"

You turned around to look back at the castle. Zexion stood at the castle side entrance.

"Get back here!"

"Why?" You yelled back.

"Sephiroth!"

You grabbed Melody's hand and ran back to the castle with her in tow. It didn't take that long because the two of you hadn't gotten very far. You let go of Melody's hand and Eric scooped her up into his arms.

"Eric, take Melody and Ariel and hide in the castle. We'll stop them and come get you when it's over." Zexion told them. He looked at you, "Let's go [Name]."

"Where is everyone else?" You asked as you slipped on your gloves. You had left them in your pocket after patrolling earlier. Your gun was hidden under the same sleeveless jacket.

"Fighting. Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo are in the town center."

You and Zexion ran onto the scene and immediately had to hit the floor and duck. A barrel exploded against the wall behind the two of you. Zexion stood up and ran into the fight. You rolled onto your feet and joined as well.

Kadaj spotted you and smirked. He pushed back Zack, Roxas, and Reno who he had been fighting and lunged at you with his sword. You clapped your hands and grabbed the sword as it neared you. It didn't cut your hands and you kept it from stabbing your belly. You smirked and pushed him back. He stumbled back in surprise.

"Interesting." Kadaj's smirk returned.

He came at you again and again. You continued to block every swing of his sword with your arms. Kadaj lifted his sword and attempted to come down on your head when he was kicked from the side onto the ground. Terra gave you a wink and began to attack him with his own keyblade. Kadaj was quick to block his attacks though. You glanced around the town square. Loz was throwing nearby barrels at Cid, Sora, Roxas, Yuna, Yuffie, and KK. Yazoo was fighting against Leon, Zexion, Axel, Big C, Ven, Paine, Tifa, and Cloud. Kadaj was now not only being attacked by Terra but also Zack, Reno, Demyx, Riku, Auron, and Angeal.

Something wasn't right though.

"Where's Vanitas?!" You yelled hoping to receive an answer.

"Castle. He's playing guard." Reno yelled before jumping out of the way of a barrel.
