Waking up I feel oddly energetic. For six in the morning my body has seemed to be rested well. I look over at the clock that reads 10:00 a.m. and bolt out of the bed. I was late for work!

I'm always gone by eight, I must have over slept dreaming about things that have no significance in my life. Shit.

Calling my office Linda picks up immediately, after what happened with Lindsay last night I won't bother to speak with her today. I refuse to speak to her anymore after last night. No one disrespects me like that and gets away with it but since I'm feeling kind I'll just leave her alone.

"Linda, cancel my meeting for today I'll be coming into the office a little bit later" I tell her while rushing to strip away the article of clothing preparing for a quick shower. In all my years of being a CEO I have only been late once ever. I consider myself to be punctual and will like to instill that into my employees as well.

"Okay sir I'll make sure I tell Lindsay t-"

"No, I want you to do it and have all of my taking care of as well. You will be relieving Lindsay for today, tell her I said to take the rest of the day off. Once I get there I don't want her in sight" I say sternly into the phone, she quickly agrees and I hang up.

After showering I race to my closet and decide to throw on one of my Armani suits and head out the front door. My driver greets me before heading into the direction of the office. Looking at my watch I decide I could go for a cup of coffee as it'll give me a boost for the day and to give Linda sometime to remove Lindsay.

The coffee shop close to my office will do. It's not the best but convenient for the time being. Waiting in the line doesn't seem to long, so to pass time I check a few emails that I've received and replied to a few messages my mother sent me about the holidays this year. Clearly knowing I will not be in attendance as every year before but I somehow am responsible for the cost of everything. Typical.

Soon enough I was at the counter and ordered my usual plain black coffee. I didn't take my eyes from the phone as I informed my dear mother how busy I will be working on whatever day she decides to invite the whole family over. Whoever was behind the counter took my card and gave it back swiftly.

Mi Madre continued to send forceful messages as to why i never bother to show up. While trying my best to be respectful I wanted to just be over this encounter. However if you met my mother you'd know not to get on her bad side. When my coffee came back I took a sip and immediately pulled it from my mouth.

What the fuck is this!?!

I stare at the coffee cup that I usually get but this was different, it was actually good!

Who made this?

"Who made this?" Voicing the thought out loud at the astonishing cup. The thought followed with why such a plain cup of joe was this tasty.

Just thinking that makes me chuckle, usually its an annoying blonde who doesn't seem to care about her job and more interested in the world of her cellular device.

"I-I did sir" I finally take my eyes from my coffee cup and stare into the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen. Eyes that can be compared to Lake Tahoe, I wonder if she's been told that before.

Fair skin that looks soft if you were to touch, Brunette hair pulled into a tight sleek ponytail giving off the innocent look of those doe eyes with the perfect pouty lips to match. Her beauty was all natural as if she just awoke and graced the world with all she had to offer. Women these days cover themselves in unnecessary makeup to resemble supermodels but not her, she just... wow.

She's stupendous. Her incredible doe eyes stare back at me with worry and I realized I made her nervous after not speaking but I couldn't seem to take my eyes away from her or even speak for that matter.

"What's your name?" I successfully ask after staring at her like a complete psychopath for about a minute or two.

"Jasmine s-sir" She smiles nervously and tries her best to maintain eye-contact. Isn't she adorable.

This may have been her first day here the bodily language screams it is and I've never seen her beforehand. I'm sure I would've noticed a beauty like her sooner or have I just been blind this whole time.

"This coffee...amazing" I smiled at her while taking another sip, she blushes and tries to hide her face with the neat ponytail it swings to her aid but disappears back to its rightful place. I don't enjoy the action as I'd prefer her anxious but present with me as the center of her attention. I didnt want her hiding from me I wanted to see her blush it was adorable.

I began to ask her another question but my phone ringing interrupted me from doing so. "What?" I spoke sternly, making it known to whomever I wasn't in the mood to speak. Startling jasmine from the sound of my booming voice.

"Um.. Mr.Newman, we've tried escorting Lindsay out of the building but she seems to have locked herself in your office demanding to speak with you"

I sigh heavily, knowing I have to depart from this beautiful women to deal with a nuisance. Life.

"I'll be right there" I hang up the phone and stare at the beautiful girl in front of me once more , debating whether to leave or not but I know I have to.

"Thank you again for the coffee jasmine" I give her a smile that makes her a blushing mess. That girl affected me like no other normally when women blush it's nothing but when jasmine blushes it's the most adorable thing I've ever seen. Her smile and her eyes attracted me to her more, she looks too innocent for this scene, this world if I'm being honest.

Where has she been?

Jasmine

Handsome would be an understatement of what I thought of the man and scary. I can't believe he complimented my coffee when I didn't even know how to make coffee, I just followed instructions I've read online about making but I guess that paid off.

He was very intimidating and he looked expensive looking suite he wore and his smile could make any girl melt. I couldn't control the heat that ran to my cheeks from when he smiles at me. I'm such idiot.

"Jasmine! Oh my gosh girl was that Mr.Newman!" One of the other employees came beside me.

"I didn't catch his name"

"Shut up! You don't know who that is?!?"

"Umm A guy who wanted coffee?"

"He's like the wealthiest man in the country right now how couldn't you know about him"

"I don't get out much"

"He rarely comes in here and from the time he has I've never seen him smile, ask for anybody's name , or says that the coffee was amazing!"

"He seemed nice Ashely"

"The guys a dick but a hot one"

Is it true? he doesn't seem that mean but he did snap on whoever was on the phone but that probably was just a work call. Maybe they just misjudged him for who he really was , if it's anything I've learned from my mother is that you never judge anybody unless they show you who they really are.

That advice I will always live by and I'll make sure I teach that to my son. Many people always get judged for who they are until you get to know them deep down for who the really are.

"I don't think he's bad as you think Ashely, he was kind to me"

"That's what I'm saying but why though"

"I have no clue"
