XLVII

Mania's Pov

It was dark now. The moon was out and everything was ready. I held my rings tightly in my hand.

"Alright, the eclipse is starting. What do we do first?" Damon asked me. I looked at the book and turned it to Bonnie.

"While you drain my blood you have to say this, over and over again until you have all of my blood. Then, obviously you mix it in and it should work." I said to her.

"Should? You mean this isn't guaranteed?" Damon asked. I glanced at him.

"It hasn't always worked. I think it depends on whose blood you use. Hopefully mine will do the job." I said. They nodded and stood around me. I knelt down in the grass and got in position to die.There were buckets by my hands so my blood would fall into them.

"I won't be able to stay up my myself so someone will have to hold me up." I said. Stefan immediately went around behind me taking the job. Bonnie got the remaining touches done. As I waited I looked at my rings again.

"Would you like me to hold on to those? I can give them back to Rebekah if you want?" Stefan asked nicely. I looked over at him and shook my head.

"No, it's quite alright, I just wish she didn't hate me you know? But, I know it's easier for me to say yes to this because of her hate." I told him. He nodded understanding.

Rebekah's Pov

I was running around my house like crazy trying to think of any place she could have been. I already checked the Salvatore's place, it was empty. It was getting far k and I was scared I'd be to late. But I didn't know where to look.

"Calm down Rebekah we will find her." Elijah said. I glanced at him.

"She's going to die Elijah! I can't just sit around i have a feeling something bad is happening tonight. It is a solar eclipse, what if that is what they need?" I asked him. Where would I take her?

Her house? No.
The field? No.
The Boarding house? Already checked.
The Falls? No.
Where?!

"Where haven't you looked?" Klaus asked. I thought for a second. Well, I haven't checked the Falls but why would she be there?

"I have a place in mind. It couldn't hurt to look." I said shrugging. I immediately made my way to the falls.

Mania's Pov

"et expiabis sanguine hanc necessitatem patienti." Bonnie said the words to the spell. She came toward me with a dagger and I felt my hands start to tremble a bit. I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself. I tried to think of my happy place.

I smiled at the thought. I felt at peace. Maybe when I die I can just relive those memories. That would be nice.

I felt a blade be lowered into my skin. My eyes popped open and I saw Bonnie watching my wrist. She drew the knife across it and I winced. All of a sudden I felt a gust of wind and darkness.

Rebekah arrived at the scene just moments before Mania had been whisked away. She hid in the trees before locating Mania.

"I knew you'd find a way back to her." I heard from beside me. I looked and saw the tall Judge, Dressed in black from head to toe.

"Of course I did, she's my wife." I told them. They watched the scene in front of us. Mania was on her knees holding her arms out. What the hell was going on? Stefan was behind her and Bonnie started walking towards her with a knife.

"Do not move Rebekah." The Judge said, as if sensing that was what I was about to do.

"She's going to kill her. I can't watch-"

"No she won't." The Judge said. I watched Bonnie get closer and she put the blade to Mania's wrist. Her eyes opened and she looked at Bonnie a little scared. I felt a whoosh and the Judge was gone, but so was Mania.

My eyes widened. The others in the field looked around frantically.

"Where did she go?!" I heard Damon yell. I quickly turned back and ran out of the woods back to my house. Hopefully the Judge would bring her there.

I went in my house quickly and saw Elijah and Klaus crowding the couch. I shut the door and looked between them. Mania laid there unconscious.

"Thank god." I said allowed.

"How the hell did she even get here?" Klaus asked.

"Doesn't matter. She's back and I'm never letting her go." I told him. I picked Mania up bridal style and carried her up to my room. I pushed my door open and carefully laid her down on the bed. I went in the bathroom and grabbed a washcloth. I cleaned off the blood on her wrist. It was slowly healing, but I could tell there would be a scar. I took off my shoes and got into bed with her. I pulled her into my side and listened to her breath. I grabbed one of her hands and entwined our hands. She had her and I's wedding rings. I carefully pulled mine off and slipped it on my own finger.

"I'm here for you whenever you wake up. I love you." I whispered to her and kissed her forehead.
