Mania's Pov

I woke up around noonish, which seemed to be pretty normal for me. I looked at my phone and saw Matt had called me. I clicked on his name and dialed back.

"Hey." He said.

"What's up you called?" I asked and yawned. I got out of bed and went into the kitchen.

"Oh yea, the Ball starts at 6 so I'll be at your place around 5:30 sound good?" He asked.

"Ya that's fine. I should probably start getting ready then I know it will take me a while to look like perfection." I joked. He laughed.

"Ok go do that I have to keep serving drinks. I'll see you in a couple hours." He said and hung up. I went into the kitchen and made myself some breakfast. I've become quite the cook over the past couple of months. I made some pancakes and bacon. I sat on my couch and watched tv as I ate.

After a plate of pancakes and bacon and three episodes of Archer later I was still on the couch. By now it was 3 pm and I really needed to start getting ready. I went and washed the dishes and put them away.

Now the fun part begins...

My hair was curled and my make up was done. I slipped on a pair of heels and carefully put on the dress. It fit just as well as it did when I bought it. I looked in the mirror and sighed.

"Calm down Mania, she is just a woman, you are a Goddess, one of the most powerful beings. You are going to turn heads, hopefully hers." I told myself. That gave me the extra confidence I needed.

The doorbell rang, I happily got up and opened the door to see Matt.

"You look fantastic, come on we don't want to be late." He said. I nodded and we got into his vehicle. Most of my dress was in my lap.

"Matt you need a new vehicle. This one looks like you pulled it out of an accident." I told him. He rolled his eyes.

"Unless you can buy me a new one your stuck in my truck." He said smirking.

"Tomorrow I will get you a new truck, I promise." I told him smiling.

"You can't use your sword, you need money, which you don't have." Matt told me. I gave him a semi glare. He just shrugged. Eventually we arrived at the Mikaelson's mansion. There were many people dressed up and Matt parked.

"At least my method would get the job done." I mumbled and got out of the truck. I straightened out my dress. Matt came around and offered me his arm. I gladly took it and made our way up. I felt a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach as we approached he place.

"Matt I feel weird." I said, he looked at me confused.

"So you feel sick? We don't have to go in if you don't want." He said stopping. I shook my head.

"No, that's not it. I don't know how to describe it. I've never felt this before. As we get closer I feel sweaty and a little scared yet excited. I'm very confused right now." I told him. His face changed from worry to a small smile.

"What? What are you smiling at?" I looked at him confused.

"Your just nervous. It's okay to be nervous, I would be to if I was attracted to someone." He said calming my nerves. I nodded and we started walking again. The build up began. I felt Matt calm me by rubbing my arm. I relaxed a bit and we went inside.

The house was beautiful, more beautiful than the Salvatore's. I spotted Damon, Stefan, Bonnie, and Elena. Matt leaned over and told me he was going over to them. I nodded and stayed where I was. I looked around for Klaus, or his sister. I did not see them. But would I did see was an alcohol table. I went over there and grabbed a drink. I saw a few people staring at me but I ignored them.

"Hello Mania." Klaus's voice made me turn.

"Hello Klaus, this event seems quite successful. You know how to throw a party." I told him. He smiled and nodded.

"This was actually my sisters doing. She decorated and set everything up." He said.

"Speaking of your sister, Where could I find her?" I asked. He chuckled and glanced at me.

"You'll see her soon enough, now Come I want to dancer with a Goddess." He said, I smirked and him and nodded. He pulled me out onto the dance floor and we danced for a song or two. We talked a bit about him moving her and myself coming down from Olympus.

"Klaus, it's time." A man with brown hair interrupted us and we stopped.

"Elijah, let me introduce you to Mania." He said. Elijah looked at me and smiled.

"I'm Elijah Mikaelson, it's a pleasure." He said. I nodded at him.

"It's nice to meet you Elijah I'm Mania." I said. He smiled at me.

"Like the Goddess?" He asked. I looked at him surprised. I nodded.

"Yes.. exactly like the Goddess." I said. He and Klaus soon left and went onto the stairs. Matt somehow made his way back to me apologizing for leaving.

"It's alright I wasn't alone. I think they're giving a speech or something." I said. Elijah soon got the attention of everyone.

Walking down the stairs, I noticed a woman in a beautiful green dress. It hugged her figure very well. That's when I realized, it was her. My jaw dropped open and the blonde woman stood confidently next to her brothers. I wanted to approach her. Her straight blonde hair was nicely pinned to the side, the green dress made her beautiful blue eyes pop.

"Mania.... stop staring." Matt nudged me. I closed my mouth and nodded looking away. I listened to Elijah finish his speech.

".....Now, if you all would give us the honor in enjoying yourselves tonight, that would bring us great pleasure. Thank you." Elijah finished talking and everyone clapped. They came downstairs. I looked back up and watched the woman walk over towards the alcohol table I had previously been at.

"Shall we go introduce ourselves?" Matt asked me. I wanted to nod, but I was frozen in place. I couldn't focus on anything but her. She enveloped my mind, nothing else mattered.

The next thing I know we were standing right in front of her. Her is moved away from the person she was talking to and locked with mine. Her blue eyes widened.

"Hello, I'm Matt, this is my friend Mania." He introduces us. She looked away from me to him.

"Rebekah Mikaelson, it's a pleasure to meet you Matt." She said. Suddenly Matt pulled away from me.

"Wow look at the time I have to go see what Stefan wants I'll be back." He said leaving me with her. I glared at him as he walked away. She stared at me smiling. I felt myself get nervous and my face felt hot.

"I-I'm Mania. It's nice to meet you Rebekah." Her name sounded like gold rolling off my tongue. I wanted to say it forever. Her smile widened.

"It's nice to meet you as well Mania. Would you like a drink?" She asked me. The way she said my name made me shudder. Her accent was beautiful.

"Yes please." I said and she handed me a drink. Our finger tips touched and felt electricity shoot up my arm and spread to my toes. Our eyes connected. Did she feel it too?

"I should.. I should probably go back to my brothers." She said, still not removing her eyes from mine. I felt my heart drop.

"Of course," I said, she stood there for a second and left. I watched her walk away, eventually she disappeared into the crowd. I looked away and down at my drink. Holy hell, I let our a breath of relief I didn't even know I was holding.

"That looked like it went well." Matt showed back up. I glared at him and hit his arm which made him groan.

"You made me look like a fool! She basically ran away from me." I said. He rubbed his arm.

"Trust me, they way you look at her, she definitely looked at you the same way. Trust me she didn't 'run away'" He said. I sighed.

"I guess, but I couldn't even get a word out without looking like an idiot." I said, Matt chuckled.

"Don't worry you'll see her again."
