So I have been witnessing my friends falling in and out of love, and sometimes, they look as if they really don't deserve to be liking the guy. Or girl. They start to measure their infatuation as right, or wrong, and I don't think it should be like that. Liking someone shouldn't be wrong. It will never be wrong, because you can't control it.
EMBRACE IT:
Infatuation, by right, is universally acknowledged
To be something that people can’t understand.
So if that really happens to you,
Don’t be afraid, and embrace it to the end.
Logically, the only way someone can understand
The attraction you have for that other person,
Is to be as equally in love with him as you are, which of course,
Is unfortunate for it wouldn’t be very pleasant.
So if people don’t quite seem to be capable,
Of seeing things from your viewpoint,
Don’t feel ridiculous, retarded,
Or worse, the need to change for fear to disappoint.
Because you have every right to like him,
And make total sense in doing so.
You possess that choice wholly,
And all the others, well, they don’t.
So he might be a pessimist, a jerk,
One that sends you high and low.
So it may look selfish to want him,
To need him for his hold.
So be it then. Just be proud,
And never be ashamed of your thoughts.
For you don’t deserve to be judged for this,
And if you remain true and brave, I will applaud.
