"Babe, aren't you coming home yet?"
Jungkook asks, impatiently as he carries the baby out of the room
You chuckle through the phone.
"Baby, I just left. What's up? Why is Jungkyu crying?"
Jungkook groans.
You left your husband alone with your 8 month old son as you had work today, and luckily, it was Guk's day off.
"I don't know, I just let him sleep in the room so that I could take a shower but before I could even open the shower, he started crying. What do I do?"
You chuckle softly.
"Have you tried giving him his bottle? It's in the heater inside the microwave"
You instruct, he sighs.
"Yes, love."
"Did you turn down the temp? Maybe he feels hot"
You ask and he shakes his head even though he knew you couldn't see.
"Yes, love"
You sigh, as he does too.
"Have you checked his diaper?"
You ask hoping, you hear him drop the phone and scramble upstairs.
You laugh quietly and waited for him to comeback.
It took 5 minutes before you hear footsteps by the phone.
You smile to yourself.
Finally
Jungkook picks up the phone and you see he requests video chat. You accept and you see him holding Jungkyu in one arm.
He sits peacefully on the couch, placing a soft kiss on his 8 month old child
"You're a life saver, babe"
He whispers and you smile
"I'm a mom & a wife Guk, it's my job to know what goes with what. I'm not a hero"
You tell him, laughing
"That's the same thing! No one can go up against you! Even Iron Man"
He exclaims.
You giggle.
"I love you, babe. I'll see you tonight"
You reply
"I love you too"
You hear him say before dropping the call.
