Jimin stood behind the blue painted door pacing back and forth nervously.
"Ah c'mon, Jimin you can do this, she's your bestfriend"
He quivers and grasps tightly on the box he was holding onto for the past hour.
He hears the door click open, you open up the door and see him standing there, all colour drained from his body.
He was dressed in a very casual outfit and you were too.
"Happy Birthday, Lya"
He says cutely with a little smile
You beam and give him a light hug
"Thanks, Chim. Ready to go?"
You ask and he nods happily, regaining all strength as he hears your voice
You walk side by side down the road towards the near by steak house you both loved.
Jimin holds the door open as you enter.
"Usual?"
He asks, a smile you've always loved was plastered on his bare face
"You know it"
You reply and he chuckles.
"Two sizzling steaks and a side of cream corn please"
He orders and the middle aged woman behind the cash register nods.
"That'll be $20"
She says and Jimin hands over the money.
You both find a booth near the window.
"What's are agenda for today, birthday girl?"
Jimin asks, propping his elbows on the table, and placing his chin on his hands
"Well, all i have in mind is the carnival, Would you like to add another place?"
You say and he grins
"No, the carnival is just perfect."
He replies.
Not long enough, your food arrives. The beautiful smoky scent touches your nose you inhale it happily. You thabk the waiter as he places your food in front of you.
As soon as the waiter walks away, you both dig in to your food not even caring about how you both look like.
The two of you would share silly jokes and stores making each of you laugh hysterically.
As soon as you both finish eating, you head out and straight to the carnival downtown.
You see tons of rides and fun games to play
"Where do you want to go first?"
He asks you and holds your hand catching you off guard, but you shrug and smile anyway
"Well, i'd like to try the mini games first and then the little rides then to the big rides."
You say and he nods approvingly
"Let's go then"
He says and pulls your hand.
Your first stop was the basketball booth.
You both had a go of shooting, but of course Jimin had more points than you.
You won a small penguin doll while he won a big owl doll, but being a good bestfriend, he gave you his doll too.
You finish all the booths quickly winning big and small dolls every game.
You head on quickly to the small rides but it was filled with little children, so you Jimin pulls your hand to the big rides.
