Proud of You [ Yoongi ]

"You really can't be here tonight?"

You asked Yoongi through the phone for the nth time. He chuckles and replies again

"No,sweet. As much as I want to, I cant. My flight's delayed. I wont arrive til the end of your graduation. "
He sadly explains, You groan and nod.

"I promise to take you out to eat dinner tonight, sweet."

He tries to convince you

"Fine. See you at dinner?"

You reply and sigh.

"See you by then, Sweet. Goodluck! I love youuuuu"

He cheesily replies and drops the call

You were nervously crossing and uncrossing your legs af of the momet. It was your graduation day and you were the highest ranking awardee of the batch and you were tasked to deliver a speech.

"Now let us call on, Ms. Y/N Kim to deliver her wonderful speech"

The MC Then says. Your Teacher cues you and you breath out heavily.

'You can do this Y/N!'

You tell yourself a couple billion times and finally walk on stage.

You see your bestfriends cheering for you. You beamed and bowed.

"I would like to start off with saying congratulations to everyone who have reached this far."

Everyone then cheers and claps.

"Also i would like to say Thank you to everyone who has helped me reach this certain point. To the one above for being my strength, To My parents, wherever you are, Mom, Dad, Thank you for always guiding me, To My Friends, who have always been so supportive in everything I do, To my teachers who have taught me thousands and thousands of facts that would help me get through life, And of course to my loving boyfriend who can't be here. Thank you for always being by my side. May everyone have an amazing and fruitful life!"

You ended your speech flawlessly and everyone applauds.

You were escorted down the stage and brought back to your seat, before sitting you stood in shock when you saw a very familiar figure

"I'm so proud of you"

He mouths and you grin widely.

"YOONGI!"

You scream and run towards him. You pounce and wrap your legs and arms around him.

Yoongi also used to be the highest ranking student at your school and everybody recognized him. You two became a couple a year before he graduated which means you were a freshman. You two were known as the power couple, you two would win awards hand in hand and the teachers commended the both of you for that. The two of you got engaged a month before your graduation which everyone approved.

Everyone had their eyes on you and had huge grins on.

"I thought you wouldn't be home until later tonight?"

You asked letting go and finally sitting on your seats.

"Why would I want to miss my favourite girl's special day?"

He says and you giggle. He wraps an arm around your shoulder and you both carefully and quietly listen to through the whole program.

The ceremony soon ends and you were now officially out of school and off to work.

Yoongi congratulates you once more and gives you a sweet kiss.

"I'm so proud of you, Y/N"

He says and catches your hand in his.

"I know"

You proudly says making him laugh

"I can't wait to see the world with you though now that i'm finally off to start an amazing adventure in the adult world with you."

You say and he gives you a loving smile.

"Everything is now more amazing now that we're both on the same path and hopefully have the same ending."

He replies.

"Now let's go on that dinner i promised you hmm?"

He asks and rubs his knuckles on your head. You eagerly nod and smile. He chuckles and pulls you towaeds his card opening the door for you.

Now you can't wait longer to see how your future goes with Yoongi, but  you know for sure that it would be more than amazing.
