“Well well, hello Mr. Night,” Katherine said with a flirty voice.

“Down girl,” I said pulling her back towards her chair.

My dad grabbed my arm to pull me close and looked into my eyes.

“Your high,” he said.

“Maybe,” I said giggling a little.

“How about we go to wherever you’re living here and sober up so we can talk,” he said.

“No I don’t want to go!” I said.

“Don’t be a downer,” Katherine said.

“You don’t speak,” he said to Katherine.

“I think you should check your tone before you speak to me like that,” Katherine said darkly.

“Let’s just go,” I said.

“Fine you go, but I’m staying,” she said.

I stumbled out of the grill with my dad leading the way.

“Where are you living?” he asked.

“The… the Salvatore Boarding house,” I mumbled.

I could feel the drugs wearing off and everything was very woozy and weird.

“Torrie are you ok?” he asked.

“Yeah, it’s this way,” I said pointing in the direction of the house.

We walked over to the dirt path that led to the boarding house and tried to run the rest of the way but I ended up stumbling over my own feet and falling to my hands and knees. My dad walked over to me and picked me up and ran the rest of the way to the boarding house. We went into the house and I noticed Damon standing over the fireplace. When he saw my dad’s face anger came over him and he started to walk towards us.

“Damon don’t,” I whispered.

“Who’s this idiot?” Damon asked.

“My dad,” I said.

My dad laid me down on the couch and I put my head in my hands and rubbed my temples.

“See this is what happens when you do drugs,” my dad said.

“Drugs?” Damon said with a surprised look.

“Katherine,” I mumbled.

“Makes sense,” Damon said.

“The girl that you were with?” dad said.
