Chapter 15- Forgiving

Risa’s POV:

I wiped away the tears that fell when I was far enough from people who can see me crying.

Get a grip to yourself, Risa Air Star. You are not some petty person who is weak! You are a Star and Stars are strong.

I inhaled then tried to clear my mind. I tried to erase the memory earlier. I tried to erase the memory when I saw that little whore kiss my mate! Then I felt tears rolling down my cheeks.

Ah shit! Why won’t these tears stop pouring?!

I hastily wiped the tears then inhaled-exhaled deeply.

I can’t believe it that he cheated on me! That jerk!

I looked at my wrist watch.

Shit! I’m gonna be late for Art!

I ran through the corridors and to the classroom but abruptly stopped when I remembered that we’re classmates.

Ugh! I’ll deal with him in class.

I just shrugged then ran faster when I heard the bell rang.

~Art Room~

Oh shit! Why him of all the people? Why Jordan?

I am now sitting beside him because our teacher paired us all to draw what you think about your pair. But, mind you, it took all of my wolf-witch-and-human strength not to look at him because I might start crying soon.

“Risa…” I heard him call.

Don’t look, Risa Air Star! DON’T LOOK!

I bit my lower lip to prevent myself from looking at his face

“Risa…babycakes…Please look at me,” he said softly.

Don’t look! Don’t loo--! Ah! It’s no use! I couldn’t take it anymore!

I looked at him but immediately regretted that I looked at him because I saw too many emotions in his eyes—guilt, longing, sincerity, love, sadness and pain.

“I’m sorry…” he said.

I just stared at him then felt a tear escaped my eye.

I abruptly wiped it so that he will not see it. But, luck was not on my side since more tears escaped my eyes.

And seconds later, I was sobbing.

“Ah shit,” I heard Jordan before warm arms enveloped me.

“Is there a problem, Mr. Sun? Why is Ms. Star crying?” I heard Ms. Storm asked Jordan.

“Umm…” Jordan said.

“Maybe, you should just bring here to the clinic?” Ms. Storm said.
