Chapter 19

~Skipping the rest of the trip~

When I got home, it was time to pack again since the next stop on the Magcon Tour was tomorrow. Our next stop was New Jersey. Jake Foushee wasn't coming, and neither was Jack. Thank god. No awkwardness or drama or me having to explain the entire situation to anyone else.

Karime, Jessica, Hannah, Jade, and Danielle made me spill as soon as I sat down in my room. So much for wanting to relax before I have to leave on a plane again.

"Oh my god, are you serious?! You were dancing with Matthew?" Hannah gasped.

"Yeah... and I actually liked it. But I was a bitch to him. I mean, I have a reason to be. It was only two years ago." I said with a sigh, scrolling through twitter. I made a tweet.

@HaileyRenee: Feeling tired and bleh. But excited for Magcon New Jersey! I can't wait to meet more of you guys! :D

I got tons of tweets back. Most were to follow them. Then others said they couldn't wait to meet me. Some were hate. Some told me to feel better.

"Where's Roseanna?" I asked.

"In her room" My mom answered. Yeah, she was in my room listening. My life was pretty much like one big soap opera to her, apparently. She loved to hear about the drama happening in my life. Most moms try to comfort their daughters with that stuff. My mom just wants to hear more and more.

I went into Rose's room and she was on her laptop in her bed.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Hey" Her voice was hoarse and raspy.

"Are you okay?" I asked. I went over and sat next to her on her bed.

"No, I'm sick." She let out a bone shaking cough and I jumped.

"Maybe you should go to the doctor" I suggested. She sounded really sick.

"No, I'm fine. I swear. It's just a little cold. I'll be alright. Now tell me about your trip" She weakly smiled and I paused before telling her what I told the girls.

"Well, I need to go shopping and get my nails redone" I explained to my mom, who thought it was weird that I was going to the mall when I just got back from vacation.

"Are you sure you should be going shopping? You need rest, hun. You've been out nonstop for the past two weeks."

"I'm fine mom I swear. Damn" I said.

"Watch the language, missy." My mom pointed a finger at me as if I was a child.

"Mom, I'm not 10. I'll be fine. I'm going with Danielle and Jessica."

"Okay. Just, make sure to wear a seatbelt, and watch the road!"

"I got it, mom" I laughed, walking up to my room.

"C'mon we're going to the mall. You three are staying here and cheering Roseanna up because she's sick."

We got to the mall and first I went to go get my nails redone.

I got them long and a shiny black color. It took about an hour. Not that long.

Then we went shopping. We went to Hollister, Charlotte Russe, American Eagle, Urban Outfitters, Zumiez, Journeys, Pacsun, Hot Topic, Victoria's Secret, and pretty much every other store in the mall that sold cute clothes.

I finished packing for the next tour and finally got a chance to sleep. But not for long because I had to get up at 5:00am.
