So after seeing all those amazing comments I decided to upload sooner than I had planned so here it is Chapter 14!

Recap:

They both turned to me and pouted at the same time, it was so creepy that it had to be a telepathic twin thing I concluded in my mind. Seeing that I was not going to give in they sighed and waked out of the door mumbling nonsense under their breaths.

I settled back into my pillows and comfortablly laid down only to interupted by someone else. Someone who I did not welcome with a warm smile and open arms. Someone who I thought was long gone and never to be seen again. It was the person who had indirectly ruined my life.

Chapter 14

Avery's POV

Seeing your mom after believing she was dead for years is something that is terrifying but also quite a happy moment I must say. I had two theories in my mind when I saw her one that I was hallucinating and should probably be taken to mental institute and two that my mother is really here.

I reached out to touch her just to make sure it really was my mother. My hand grazed over her arm and I knew immediately my mother was actually here and alive. Millions of quesstions and other explanations ran through my mind but one stood out the most.

How?

How was she here?

So I asked her just that one sentence. I didn't even bother to give her a simple greeting I just asked her that one sentence not knowing that my world was going to flipped upside down once again this week.

"How are you here?"

She sat next to me on my bed, making herself comfortable. Her hand brushed my face lovingly as she stroked my hair just like I had imagined in my dreams. My eyes started to tear up and the next thing I knew I was full out bawling.

She sat there patiently not even moving an inch as the guards Aaron had put outside the door rushed in as they heard me. Soon Aaron himself was at my side looking worried and stressed and confused as he saw my mother still sitting there petting my hair.

"Avery? Avery baby please stop crying!" He pleaded with me but the tears just wouldn't stop flowing they were never ending just like the pain was in my heart.

He stood up frustrated and turned to look at my mother murderously.

"I'm sorry ma'am but I'm going to have to ask you to leave." He said with a hard edge in his voice.

She looked up at him a small smile on her face, "I believe I have the right to stay with my daughter here as much as you do," Pointing to Aaron's mark on my neck.

His face paled as did everyone else's in the room did figuring out that the woman in my room was my mother. He immediately left the room and called his father to come saying something really fast so that no one could catch what he was saying.

A while later I had finally run out of tears to sit up in my bed and take a good look at my mother. I had her hair and eyes no wonder my father must have abused me. I looked just like her except younger of course.

He must have gotten angry every time he saw me and needed to hurt me just because I reminded him of what he lost.

"You look like me," I stated absentmindedly.

"You mean that you look like me," She said with a humorous smile on her face.

I let a breath of frustration out and let my eyes wonder to the window.

"You have your father's personality I see," She said letting out a laugh, "Always having to be right no matter what."

I turned to look at her with an unamused expression on my face.

"How are you alive?"

She sighed and looked out the window before speaking.

"You were young when we were attacked."

"Attacked? What do you mean attacked?"

She turned to face me before continuing her tale.

"There were rouges near our pack, male rogues and they needed females to reproduce."

My eyes bulged out of face as took in her information. Had they taken my mother to...reproduce?

"I know what you're thinking but no I used the attack as a way to run away from your father."

I let out a small sigh of relief knowing my mother wasn't harmed.

"But why did you run away from father?"

"He was abusive then and...I got tired of it so I ran."

"But what about me? Did you not want me?" I murmured softly fearing her next answer.

"Oh darling no nothing like that I loved you so, so much," She said soothingly, "I left you because I wouldn't be strong enough to protect you in the woods and from other harmful creatures that would want to hurt us."

I nodded at her understanding where she was coming from.

"It was one of the hardest things I had to do but it was necessary."

The door opened revealing a very stressed out Aaron. He walked up to my bed and picked me up gently before placing me in his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and made myself comfortable before turning to look at my mother.

"Where did you go?"

"I joined another pack for a few years before leaving to go look for you."

"You wanted to see me?" I asked her with disbelief coating my words.

"Of course you are my baby girl aren't you?"

"Mom I'm not a little girl anymore!"

She smiled brightly at my words with tears slowly forming in her eyes.

"Mom why are you crying?"

"You- you called me mom even though I was never there for you."

I got up slowly and hugged her while she was crying into my shoulder. If you asked me what I learned from my father it would be forgiveness. I know it sounds ironic considering I was abused but it's true I've learned to forgive others because it's the right thing to do.

That's why I forgave my mother because she deserves it. After all she's been through it's the last thing I can give her.
