Disclaimer: I wrote this just for fun. Hindi nito nirereflect ang mangyayari sa This Might End Up A Story, ayos ba? (And hindi ko talaga alam kung ganun ba talaga ang katawan ni AA okay? I just used my imagination. Hah.)

A harsh grunt came out of her lips when she heard a familiar ringtone.

From: Lean

Wag ka munang aalis after ng game. May pag-uusapan pa tayo.

Napasimangot si Barbs sa nabasa niya. Sobrang saya lang niya a second ago, Charleston Ravens won the basketball championship. Four-peat, baby! And tradition na sa kanila ang magcelebrate sa Pop's right after ng game, champion man o hindi. At dahil panalo sila, libre lahat ni Papi. Eto na ang chance niya para lumamon ng paborito niyang onion rings at milkshake nang libre!

Kaso, buzzkill si Lean.

Ilang araw na siyang kinukulit nito para mag-update ng You're The One That I Want. Dapat nga kinikilig siya, he's her idol for heaven's sake! Whoever thought Mr/s Darcy is a guy, who turned out to be her freaking Creative Writing teacher? Wala sa itsura ni Lean na nagsusulat ito ng Teen Fiction romance stories. Kaya nga naninibago at nagugulat siya sa pagpipilit nito na mag-update siya.

To quote him, "Ibang klaseng thrill ang nararamdaman ko kina Denn and Leiza. Believe me, nakakarelate ako."

Well, she's flattered and weirded out at the same time.

She felt someone snatched her phone from her. Si Wes pala, may hawak na baso, nakangiti sa kanya. "Bawal nakasimangot dito, Barang. Four peat, baby!" sigaw nito sabay angat ng baso sa ere.

"Is that.." Barbs leaned forward to smell Wes' drink. "Putangina, may alcohol ba yan?"

"Ssshh," Wes playfully whispered. "Four peat naman kami! Tsaka konting alcohol lang 'to. Promise."

Barbs surveyed the whole place. Almost everyone's drinking the spiked iced tea, except Vivien and Karl (Bakit nandito si Karl? Wala siya sa game kanina ah?). Nagsimula nang magpatugtog ng party music ang Snerds, at may ilang schoolmates na silang tumatayo sa upuan at sumasayaw. Ang Ravens (kasama na ang best friend niyang si Chester na mukhang tipsy na) ang nagpasimunong sumayaw sa may mini stage. Everyone's getting wild and rowdy, making her the odd one in the room.

Nakita niyang palapit sa kanila sina Janine at Rocky, may hawak din itong baso ng deadly iced tea. "Tomby! Come on, don't be such a grouch!" Janine teased, her voice an octave higher. Hinigit nito ang braso ni Barbs. "Tara na, let's party!"

“Shit, ikaw din?” sinubukang agawin ni Barbs ang baso mula kay Janine pero pinigilan ito ni Rocky. “What the hell, guys! Papagalitan tayo ni Nots nito!!”

Halatang tipsy na ang magbest friend, tawa na lang kasi ang sinagot nila sa kaibigan. “Come drink with us, Barbs! Minsan lang naman eh!” offer sa kanya ni Rocky. Inabutan siya nito ng baso. “Please?”

Alam na niya ang susunod na sasabihin ng mga kaibigan, na three months na lang bago mag-graduation, na time of their lives na. Never pa siyang nakakainom ng alcohol sa four years niya sa high school, part ng pagiging non-conformist niya (Manang move, sabi nina Rocky). Pero ngayong gabi.. she felt a little bit different. Dahil ba sa party songs, energy ng mga tao sa paligid niya o sadyang gusto niya lang na masubukang uminom.. hindi na niya alam.
