Of course, she was the first one to know.

After all, she was the one who'd suggested it years ago. Na sa kanya muna dadaan ang sinumang candidate (babae man o lalaki) para sa prestigious Worth The Trouble position. Na magkakaroon siya ng first hand and super exclusive look sa relationship nina Andreau at WTT. Na siya ang president ng *insert WTT name here* Defense Squad if if ever atakihin ito ng mga bitter na rabies-infested Dreausters. Na magiging 100% supportive siya sa lovelife ni Andreau (pero may privilege na sapak if ever magpakatanga ito).

(But that was a long time ago. Manhid at immature pa siya nung sinuggest niya 'yon kay Andreau. Muntikan na nga niyang makalimutan 'yon eh. Kaso si Andreau 'to, ang lalaking memorized ata ang lahat ng sinabi niya {maliban sa pangalan niya}; bigla na lang pinaalala.

{may choice siyang ideny ang sinabi niya that moment. madali lang namang sabihin na shit i don't remember saying that, francisco. pagod ka lang siguro at kung anu-ano na inaakala mo dyan.

the lie could've easily rolled out of her mouth yet she didn't say it. instead, inamin niya at sure, I'm excited to meet her! finally nahanap mo na rin ang worth the trouble mo!

She could never lie to him for two reasons:

1. andreau will always know she's lying

2. what kind of a friend she is if she lied to him?)

(( a small part of her wished she hadn't said all those things years ago. damn her and her stupid stupid mouth ))

A small part of her blamed Andreau for this, too.

Even before he graduated, pinangako sa kanya ni Andreau na walang magbabago sa dynamics nilang dalawa. Kahit wala na siya sa campus at bumalik na sa buhay-showbiz, magkaibigan pa rin sila. Of course, she believed him (always) and echoed the promise. Wala pa namang pangakong napako si Andreau (and vice-versa) kaya naging kampante siya. She consider(s/ed) him as her best friend, her first and probably the last (although he wasn't aware of it). And.. best friends always keep their promises, right?

Isang taon lang naman silang may irregular schedule. After his graduation, Andreau had assured her that everything will go back to normal/

(That had been the first out of all the broken promises he'd made throughout their friendship. And the least hurtfull of all.)

Walang nagbago sa routine nila two months after he graduated. Tinapos pa kasi noon ni Andreau ang documentary niya bago siya pumirma ng bagong three year contract. Hindi siya kinabahan nab aka magbago ang normal nila.
