You sat at the island in the kitchen waiting for Drew and Dakota to get ready for school. They were now teenagers. So they were at that age where it takes them over a hour to get ready.

"Dakota come on I have to get ready!" Dak yelled.

"Dad it takes time for a girl to get ready!" She yelled back.

A few moments later Dak walked down stairs and sat across from you.

"Will you go talk to your daughter. She is taking up our bathroom." He said.

"Well use the downstairs one." You said.

"But its OUR bathroom." He said.

"And Drew is im THEIRS." You said mocking him.

"Who's idea was it to have 2 more teenagers in the house." He said walking away.

"That would be you babe!" You yelled back.

"Mom!" You heard from the door.

"Im in the kitchen!" You yelled back.

A few seconds later you saw Reignee, EJ, and Talia walk into the kitchen.

"Hey baby." You said bending down to pick Talia up.

"Hey mawmaw." She said.

"That didnt make me feel old at all." You said sarcastically.

"Tell mimi where you going today." EJ said.

"School." She said.

"Awe thats great." You said.

"Where's the twins?" Reignee asked.

"Upstairs driving your father up a wall." You said.

"Bet you long for the day me and DJ were here." She said.

"Oh god no you to nearly tore the house down." You said.

"We did not." She said.

"What ever helps you sleep at night my love." You said.

"Hey little one." Dak said coming out the bathroom.

"Dad why you using the guest bathroom?" Reignee asked.

"Because your sister and brother are making me feel like a guest in my own home." He said.

"Oh the take 3 years to get ready stage." Reignee said.

"Yep and your father is not happy because. Dakota is using our bathroom." You said.

"Its alright dad a month into school and they will get out of bed and not care what they look like." Reignee said.

"Im praying for that. I liked when you and your older brother came out looking like you just rolled out of bed and put clothes on." He said.

"Most mornings that is what we did." She said.

"We are ready." The twins said coming down stairs.

"It took you an hour to do that?" Dak asked.

"What?! Oh god?!" Dakota said running back upstairs.

"See what you did?" You said going upstairs.

"I didnt mean it like that." He said.

"Did you not learn anything from me?" Reignee asked.

"I was playing football for most of  your teenage years." He said.
