Re-cap

She link one of her arm around mine while place the other on top. She hiccup a couple of time before smiling up at me. “Tomorrow our training would start.” Athena’s smile got wider as she nods her head.

We walk out of the room ignoring everyone. Both got a smile on our face. Tomorrow would be a rough day for Athena. I thought.

~*~

“Cherry!” Someone was shouting my name but sleep continues to evade my mind. “Cherry!” This time the urgent call was followed by a loud knocking. Who could it be? I thought as I as I got up and drag my feet towards the door.

I unlocked the door and open it. I glare at Athena who continues to beam a smile at me. I groan and rub the sleepiness off my eyes. “Athena what are you doing here at…” I glance at my alarm clock on the night stand and my eyes nearly bug out. “At four in the freaking morning!”

Athena looks at me guiltily as she bites the bottom of her lips. “I’m too excited to go to sleep beside I can’t wait any longer.”

Once again I groan and slap my palm on my face. “How are you going to train if you didn’t sleep properly?”

“What’s my sleep had to do with my training?” Athena frowns at me as she tilts her head to the side.

“Athena, if you don’t get some sleep you’ll be too tired to do the training later.” I argue.

“No I won’t!” She crosses her arms in front of her chest and huff. “I’m too excited to sleep and this excitement is giving me enough energy!”

“Look our training start with jog around the pack ground for two hours followed by some gym work out for the rest of the morning.” Athena eyes got wider and wider as I explain today’s plan, well the suppose plan. “In the afternoon, I’ll teach you the basic position and techniques in defence. This will continue until I’m sure you’re ready to do more complex things.”

“I have to do all of that?!” Athena shriek, officially bursting my eardrums. “I can’t do that!” I wince at how high her voice had become. “No one can do that stuff! It’s just plain impossible!”

“Athena!” I yelled her name making her stop mid-rant to look at me shock. “Me and the rest of the Crescent pack do those routine.” I sigh. “Look, you’re way behind now and I can’t give you the children’s routine because you’re too old for that and it won’t do you any good.”

Athena looks at me in a defeat but she seems like she’s not finish arguing with me because she open her mouth but only to snap it close as I gave her a stern look. “Look, we can start the training tomorrow when you got a proper eight hours sleep for now…” I trail off as I walk towards a study table and grab the books about basic form of defence I borrowed from the library before walking back to the door. “Read them and you’ll be able to understand what I’m on about tomorrow, okay?”

Athena grabs the book but look at me with disappointment. “Fine.” She mumbles before walking away.

I gently close the door behind me and lock it before snuggling back into my bed. I must have fallen asleep instantly because the next thing I knew I woke up at the pounding sound on my door.

I turn around on my other side and stare at my alarm clock which says it was ten in the morning. The pounding on my door continues and I couldn’t help but grunt. “I’m coming!” I screamed, totally forgetting that it was soundproof.

I jump out of the bed and sprint to the door before opening it too quickly, catching Alex ready to pound his fist on my door. “What?” I snap.

Alex frowns at me. “What took you so long?” I didn’t bother answering but instead I glare at him. Alex checks me out before settling at my hair before giving me a smug look. “Nice hair.”

“What do you want Alex.” I hiss sending much venom in each word.

“Well, I was wondering if you want to come and join me for lunch.” Alex asks, scratching the back of his neck.

I narrowed my eyes, making him fidgets. “What so you can get in my pants? No thank you!”

“Aw, come on.” Alex said rolling his eyes. “I know you have a thing for me, heck! I caught you before checking me out!”

Oh. I thought. “So? It’s not like you never check me out!” I know it was a lame comeback but he is stupid after all which prove my point when he said his comeback.

“Yeah well you’re hot!”

Stupid, right? I roll my eyes and was about to slam the door in his face when his shoe got in the way.

“Come on! Just this once and I promise I’ll keep my hands to myself.” He begged, Alex actually begged, giving me the full on puppy dog eyes and pout lips.

I couldn’t help but feel bad for him but the thing is I didn’t care. “OUT!” I said through gritted teeth.

Alex steps forward making me take a step back. We continued to do this until my back hit the wall and I was trap between him and the wall. He places both of his hands at the side of my head and his face inches from mine.

If I wasn’t trying to prevent skin to skin contact then I seriously had punch this guy. Alex’s face got inches away from mine and I start to hear my racing heart. My breath was coming short and quick and my mind seems to be going jelly-o on me.

Think! Think! Think! I screamed in my head again and again. One single touch and the bond would be as strong as ever. I thought in panic. Without thinking I raise my left leg and knee him where the sun doesn’t shine.

Alex groans as he fell on my floor clutching his family jewel. “What the hell was that for?” His voice was husky, probably from the pain and talking with through clench teeth.

“That’s for being a douche!” I glare down at him as I send Arvin a request to grab the idiot out of my room through the mind link.

Alex and I continue to glare at each other before a sound of a camera made us look towards the door. The twins had their phone out and the lens was pointing directly at Alex who was still on the floor.

Alex must have realised what the twins had done because the next thing I knew he was up on his feet and running after the twins. “Well that went well.” I mumble making Brian chuckles. “Where’s Arvin?”

“He went out to check around that’s why he pass your message to me.” Brian explains. I nod my head in understanding. Brian’s smile faded as he looks at me seriously. “Did your bond return?”

I thought about it trying to seek the bond and when I found nothing, I smile and shake my head. “That’s good then.” I gave him the ‘what-are-on-about’ look making him chuckles. “We didn’t plan to go home without you.”

I smile moving closer to Brian before giving him a hug. Tyler soon came out of his room and join in before the twins return and try to squash us by hugging us tightly. This is how Arvin found us, laughing like idiots and trying to struggle each other with bear hugs.
