"You enjoyed church today princess?"

"Mhmm"

"Use your words YaYa." August told her

"Yes momma."

"Good."

"When we get home I'll put the bags in the car ok babe?" He glanced over at me.

We were on our way back from church and the morning was so beautiful. Service was great. The pastor spoke about forgiveness and understanding.

It was crazy how today's service went and looking at August's reaction during the sermon, he seemed so deep in thought.

"August?"

"Yes daddy."

"Watchu want fa lunch mama?"

"Umm" she paused. "Meball"

"Youball?" He asked.

"Nooo, Meball!" She exclaimed in a giggle.

"Keira our daughta' want us ta turn ha into a ball."

"Really?" I looked back at her.

"No momma" she laughed.

"So what you want then?"

"Meball."

"Babe I think we gonna have to make her into a ball"

"Ya sure bout that baybeh?"

"Well that's what she wants."

"Aight then." He nodded.

All the while she was in the back laughing loudly.

"You have meetings all day tomorrow?" I asked.

"Nah just in tha morning. I told em I gotta spend time with ma daughta and girl in tha afternoon."

"Ok!" I smiled.

"Ya ready ta be back in Atlanta?"

"I believe so!" I nodded.

"If it gets ta be ta a point whea ya can't just say and we'a come back on tha west coast aight."

"Mhmm" I nodded.

"Words Keiya!" We heard.

Looking back, she smiled her big smile.

"Little girl!" I laughed.

"She has a point ma!" August laughed.

"YaYa, when we get home we working on colors and letters ok"

"Yes!" She whispered and nodded.

"I don't get that ya know."

"What?" I looked at him.

"When she whispers like that."

"I don't either, but then I tell myself, she is your daughter so she weird like that."

"I'm weird?" He looked at me as he made tha turn.

"Keira you tha one who be doing a bunch of weird shit."

"Like letting your girl sit on your face right." I laughed.

"Two years and you still ain't complaining so shut up!" He laughed.

"No I'm not!" I smiled. "I know what that mouth do!" I playfully pulled on his chin.

"Careful now." He smirked at me.
