"I don't know if I should pluck your throat or what" I said under my breath and Xander laughed.

"I didn't know you two were getting pretty serious last night. How many times do I have to apologize?" he whimpered a bit before smiling.

Wil then entered the dining room followed by grandma. He smiled at us and we smiled back. Grandma pointed to the empty seat in front of mine as she sat down.

"Looks like someone earned the right to sit on her left side" Xander whispered and I smirked.

"You're enjoying this whole scenario aren't you?"

"Who can blame me? It's like watching a series."

A few minutes after we started eating, my brother's eyes caught something and he nudged my knee with his.

"What?" I asked.

"Grandma's got prune juice" he whispered.

I looked at grandma who's busy conversing with Wil before looking at her glass.

"So?" I asked.

"If I can only say, 'Grandma, drink your prune juice!' it would be awesome" he chuckled and I couldn't help but laugh.

Our grandmother looked at us and we both smiled.

"I figure you two slept well last night?"

We both nodded and she smiled at us before turning her attention back at Wil.

"That would be the day" I grinned and he snickered.

"So... what were you two talking about last night?" he queried.

"None of your business" I smirked and he gasped exaggeratingly.

"This is the first time you didn't want to share something with me" he said. "It must be something special then. I shall wait for you to tell me. But if I'm tempted, I'll ask Wil."

"Is it raining?"

"No. It's so obvious that it's not. You could almost see your shadow on the table. Why?"

"Because I'm sure grandma will tell me to bring Wil to the garden after breakfast."

"Oh right...should I buy a ring?" he teased.

"Oh and Alexandra" Xander and I turned our attention to our grandmother. "Go straight to the garden with Wil after you eat."

I smiled back at her and before we continue to eat, I leaned to my right and whispered, "I told you."

Xander almost choked on his food and he had to swallow hard before nodding.

Wil and I visited grandpa's grave on the west side of the garden after we ate. I shared some childhood memories about grandpa and how grandma had to make the first move because grandpa was too shy. Wil in return told me about his grandparents who lives near the mountains and promised to take me there someday to meet them.

An adventure up the mountains sounds good in the summer. We both wondered if he'll be free to take me there during the summer and if not, he'll have no choice but to drag me there during the winter.

He expressed his admiration of the gardener's green thumb because of the beauty of the flowers that surrounded us as we walked through the garden towards the area where the outdoor swings are near the fountain.

"Is your grandma watching?" he asked as we sat down.

"No" I answered. "I'm pretty sure she's busy matchmaking with Xander."

He released a breath of relief. "I'm sort of pressured because I don't have a ring with me and she's already talking about names for her great-grandchildren."

"Wow" I widened my eyes. I guess I was too absorbed talking with my brother that I didn't notice him probably screaming for help.
"Are you okay? I'm sure she wouldn't mind me not wearing a ring."

"I'm fine" he smiled. "I just feel like I should talk to your grandma about those things once I've asked for your hand in marriage."

"She's just excited. She's right when she said that she's not getting younger by the minute. We aren't growing young either."

"Right" he folded his arms pushed off the ground to get us swinging. "We didn't get to finish talking last night though."

I bit my lip and nodded. I didn't get to finish my sentence last night.

"So what were you about to say?" he asked and I looked at those hopeful brown orbs before smiling.

"I was about to say that I think it's time for me to let myself go."

"Wait" he sat up. "Does that mean...?"

"Yes" I nodded. "I want to venture into a new chapter without holding myself back."

"That's great" he beamed.

"You don't get it do you?" I asked since he just smiled and looked around as we sat there.

"What do you mean I don't get it?" he asked back.

I looked at him and he looked back at me. I don't know how long we stared at each other until he seemed like he read the answer to his question on my forehead.

"With me?" he raised his brows and his eyes searched mine for an answer while his lips parted as he waited if he should smile or not.

"Yes-with you" I answered.

"Wow" his widened and I smirked. "Am I dreaming?" he asked.

"Are you?" I chuckled.

"Oh my god... I...I don't know what to say" Wil unfolded his arms and touched his face. "I'm-I'm caught off guard. I mean...really?"

I couldn't help but laugh at how silly he looked like. It's like I just told him that he's the living, breathing, long lost son of Superman and that he just won the lottery at the same time.

"I can take it back if it's all too much to take in" I teased,

"Oh hell no!" he grinned. "I want to jump up and down in here but I might wreck the swing."

Wil stood up and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Oh man" he smiled widely as he turned around and paced in the area.
"Oh man! Yeah!" he laughed. "Oh this is unbelievable! Okay, I gotta calm down."

"You do" I nodded as I watched him amusingly.

"Oh gosh" he sighed and sat beside me before taking my hand and then released it afterwards. "Wait, wait, wait can I? Can I hold your hand?"

"You're so adorable" I smiled. "Yes you can."

He looked at my hand for a minute before trying to hold it again as if it's so fragile that it could break any minute he lays his hand on it. I've decided that I should stop his agony and help his hand.

"I have to go" he suddenly said.

"Where?" I asked.

"I need to get something" he answered. "I have to shower" he chuckled "And I have to get something-I'll be back as soon as I can, I promise."

"O...kay" I tilted my head to the side and furrowed my brows as I smiled slowly.

"I'll be back" he jumped up. "Just wait for me here and I return ASAP!"

I watched him run back towards the house and sat back down. I wonder where he's going and what he's going to get that he had to leave as soon as possible.
