*ROC*

After I dropped Destiny off with her godmother, Angie I went to work.

"Hey Mr.August, lookin good today." My secretary Lia complemented.

"Thank you, coffee and three sugars please, gotta long day ahead of us."

"Yes sir." She said before running off to get my coffee.

I loostened my tie and took off my jacket, draping it over my chair. I looked over at my desk, my eyes falling on a frame that held a picture of Rain and I on our wedding day. She was smiling, and she looked healthy and happy as ever. I grabbed the frame and threw it into my trashcan.

"You ok sir?" Lia asked from my door.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

She handed me my coffee.

"She's beautiful."

"Huh?"

"Your daughter, she's beautiul. I saw the screensaver on your laptop last night. I came to put the files on your desks and accidently bumped your laptop."

"Oh, well thank you very much."

My day went by extremely slow. All I did was review order forms and designs with Lia, asking her opinion on what designs she thought could work for females. When it got dark out I made my way to Angie's to pick up Destiny.

"Hey Roc." She smiled.

"Hi."

She looked over towards the room where she kept the baby when someone inside laughed.

"You're such a pretty baby." Someone said.

I pushed past Angie. "How are you ganna have some random person with my baby!?"

I opened the door to the room and froze.

"Rain." I gasped.

She looked up from the crib where Destiny was laying and ran into my arms.

"Oh I've missed you so much!" She said.

I felt her tears wetting my shirt and I squeezed her tight.

"Are you ok now?"

"Yeah, Dr.Meyers says I am a hundred percent healthy. Oh god Roc I tried to breast feed and it worked! And Angie helped me change her, I even gave her a bath!"

"She did extremely well." Angie mentioned.

I laughed. "Of course she did well. She's a mom."

"I can't believe you didn't give up on me." She whispered in my ear.

"Baby I never will." I whispered back.

"Why don't you two go home? Catch up a little and come get her tommorow."

"That's generous of you." I said.

"No. We'll get her later tonight."

I smiled at Rain's protective behavior towards Destiny.

"She's right, give us a few hours."

"2 hours tops." Rain corrected me.

Angie hugged Rain and moved us towards the door.

"Ok call me when you're on your way."

"Ok." We both said.

"Rain." Angie called.

"What?" She asked.

"I love you."

Rain hugged her again. "I love you too god mommy."

She laughed. "Alright you two get out of here."
