"Miss Gomez, we've found your daughter". Were the only words - everyone even the people that hated her, wanted to hear.
Mandy dropped the phone and began crying as she let her back slide against the wall. She buried her head in her hands and just let it all out. She ran a hand through her hair, and genuinely looked up.
"Yes," she replied in fits of pure happiness and confusion, "I'm on my way" she replied. Standing up - she brushed herself off and headed to the police station.
After her daughter; had been missing for nearly four months, she began to lose hope. All she could do was pray and pray until she finally heard those four words. Those four bearable words that would completely heal, and change her. But for now, all she could do was live in the moment. And thank God - that her prayers had been answered.
