Erin Strauss walked into SSA's Aaron Hotchners office, he invited her in on first knock but his face turned from neutral to unpleasant as soon as he realised it was her.

"Yes Erin?" He said his voice filled with annoyance "Aaron" she began but he cut her off "if your here to break them up, do it yourself I'm not going to be the one who brings misery to there life." His voice was cold and Strauss nodded "I was actually here to tell you that I have decided they can stay together as long as it doesn't affect the work" Strauss said and the agent nodded.

There was another knock and then the door swung open "I don't care if I have to quit I'm not leaving her and there is nothing you can do to make me change my mind" Reid said clearly out of breathe and Strauss nodded, even though she didn't show it she was impressed that someone was willing to do that for someone they love.

"It's ok Reid, you two can stay together" Hotch said and he smiled, it was barely visible but it was there.

As much as he hated to admit it he had always been fond of the couple, in his opinion they balanced each other out and with this job it was always better to have your better half available and ready.

Spencer Reid stood there breathless as he stared into the office, his cheeks flushing red, Morgan had texted him telling him that Strauss was there and Reid had caught a cab and he had ran all through the building, and everyone knew he didn't run.

"Oh" was all he could say, before he shut the door he heard someone yell out "well?" And looking down he saw Morgan, Prentiss, Rossi and Garcia all standing there with hopeful looks on there faces.

Limply nodding Spencer gave a smile and it was a real one not a fake one.

"So what did you want to talk about Spence" JJ asked her mouth sore from smiling, you would think that after a month of Strauss giving them the all clear it would have settled in but it hadn't every day when she woke up and saw him sleeping on inches away from her, his warm breath on her it was a reminder that they could be together, with nothing stopping them.

"You're not gonna like it" he said taking a seat beside her, his eyes gazing over her healed scars, he hated them because they reminded him of how he left her to die.

"Spence you don't know that" she said resting her head on his shoulder, "JJ, promise you won't react" Spencer said and she nodded her blonde hair brushing against his skin.

Spencer loved this feeling being able to hold the woman he loves in his arms, without a care in the world it made him feel something he had never felt before freedom, whenever she was with him he felt that, like he could do anything in the entire world as long as she was by his side

"I promise" she said wrapping his arms around his slim waist, "you see the Doctor who convention is coming up" he began but she lifted her head "no, no, no Spence please tell me your joking" there was no response and she sat there frozen "it'll be fun" he said and she shook her head "for you."

"Please"

"No"

Then both there phones went off, "saved by the phone" JJ muttered under her breath.

Personally she didn't know why she disliked those conventions so much, but she didn't see the amusement as dressing up as some character and walking around, it made no sense to her.
