Michael's point of view

"June, baby, come on now! Are you done yet?" I called from down the stairs. June was still packing up her stuff, and she wouldn't come down while we had to pay visit to the children from UCLA.

When I looked up, June was standing at the top of the stairs, and her hair was all over the place. She sighed heavily while joining me dowstairs.

"I can't make it, babe. I'm not done packing. Do you mind going without me?"

"Is it another trick to avoid coming with me?" I asked and she looked down. I lifted her chin up with two of my fingers, and her eyes met mine again. "Baby, it's ok. You should have told me sooner you didn't want to come with me. I would have understand," I declared, a reassuring smile on my lips.

"I think I'm not ready yet, I don't want to bond with another child who's going to end up dying," she sincerely said. "Are you mad at me for not coming?" she asked, pouting.

"No, of course not. I understand babygirl. You need time, and I'll give you all the time you need before you're ready to come with me again to see children, ok?"

"You're the best, you know that right?" she asked me, with a slight smile.

"Of course I know it," I bragged, laughing, which caused June to roll her eyes playfully at me. "I guess I'll see you later, then?"

"Yeah, give a kiss to each of those kids you're going to meet for me."

"Will do. Now you give me a kiss," I said, pulling her closer to me by her waist. I leant down and she gave me a sweet loving kiss, wrapping her arms around my neck. When she pulled away, she pecked my lips on more time, and rode the stairs once again. "Love you too!"I ironically exclaimed to her, which made her turn around and come down the stairs once again. She pecked my lips yet another time, and told me she loved me. "That's better," I smiled, and walked out of the house.

When I arrived in UCLA, journalists and paparazzi were already there to welcome me. I made my way to the hospital, waving at the crowd which was gathered around it. Bill, Pit and Carson were surrounding me while I enterred the building. Yeah, Carson woudn't have been a big help if I got mobbed, but he held this giant bag with toys for the kids. When I arrived there, a bunch of nurses was waiting for me. They were all smiling from ear to ear. I shook hands with them, and they showed me my way to the children service. I began with the playroom where a bunch of children were playing on the floor with a few toys, while the other ones who were unable to do so were watching tv. When I came in the room, their little faces lit up immediately, and the ones who were able to run, ran towards me, and held my legs tightly. I kneeled in front of them to be at their height and gave a hug and a kiss on the cheek to each and every single one of them. I played a bit with them, signed some autographs, gave them toys. Seeing those sick children happy just by me being around them is an amazing feeling. Children are so innocent, so pure, and they won't ever be judgmental. That's why I love them. I see God through the face of children.

After a little while, the nurses showed me the way to the service with leukemia kids. I was relived June wasn't here at that moment, because it would have made her think about Beverly, and the fact that she lost her.
While we were in the hallway to reach this service, we heard a woman yelling and cursing loudly behind us. When I turned around, I saw a short brown-haired woman who was yelling through her cellphone.

"How can you do such a thing? Are you fu king heartless? He's just a child, God damnit!" she yelled, pacing back and forth. "I can't pay all those bills by myself! I need this insurance!" she paused for a few seconds and started yelling again, "I lost my job because I was sick, but I'm looking for a new one now! Please, I need this," she pleaded, sitting on a nearby chair. "You know what? Go to hell, you fucking rats! You're a shame for this world, fucking monster!" she hung up the phone and threw it across the hallway. She sat back down and buried her face in her hands, and began to cry.
