𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙏𝙀𝙍 25

After a while, Marinette came back with the crossaints. The crossaints were coated with sugar syrup and they looked tasty.

"Here! Crossaints coated with sugar syrup!" smiled Marinette.

"Wow, these are really good! The best crossaints ever!" said Adrien as he took a bite.

"Thanks!" thanked Marinette. "Felix, care to try one?"

"No, thank you." replied Felix. "There's much sugar in it. It's unhealthy."

"Oh, come on! It's not that sweet. Plus, a little won't hurt, right?" said Marinette.

"No." Felix continued to deny the crossaint.

"Fine." replied Marinette. "Come over here."

"What?" questioned Felix. "Don't tell me you want to force me to eat that."

"What? No! Why would you think that?" said Marinette while laughing, he knew exactly what she wanted to do.

"Then why should I be there?" questioned Felix.

"Well, it's about the 'lortap'. ('Patrol' But Backwards)" replied Marinette.

Felix knew what she said so he sat beside Marinette. As for Adrien, he couldn't understand a thing. All he knows is that his 'friend' is sitting beside his cousin.

"What's the matter? Something wrong?" asked Felix curiously.

"Well... you see..." said Marinette before stuffing a crossaint in Felix's mouth.

"Hey! You told me-" Felix stopped. "Hum... this is pretty nice... It's not too sweet."

"See? I told you! My crossaints are the best, you can't deny them!" said Marinette proudly.

"Hum, sure." replied Felix as he kept on munching on the crossaint that he had.

Adrien looked at them and had a lot of thoughts in his mind. He didn't like Marinette being close to Felix. But what was he thinking? He can't control Marinette's life.

"What time is it?" asked Marinette.

"Currently 9:00 p.m." replied Felix.

"9 already?! Well, I remember I have work to do, so I'll meet you downstairs Felix!" said Adrien as he rushed downstairs, remembering the patrol with Ladybug.

"Why is Adrien in such a hurry?" asked Marinette.

"No clue." replied Felix.

"Well, I guess see you later!" smiled Marinette.

"Hum." hummed Felix as he went downstairs.

Adrien was already waiting for Felix as he went down. Adrien dragged Felix outside and began to brisk walking.

"Why are you brisk walking? Is your work that important?" asked Felix.

"What? And yes, it's very important." replied Adrien.

"Brisk walking is walking in a faster pace."

"Oh, okay. New word unlocked, now let's get back to the mansion. Don't wanna miss my work!"

"Great. Now I have to catch up to him."

In The Agreste's Mansion

The two arrived not long after and entered the mansion.

"Well Felix, see you tomorrow!" smiled Adrien as he went inside his bedroom and shut the door.

"This is stupid." said Felix as he slowly closed his bedroom door.

In Felix's Bedroom

"Master..." said Duusu.

"What is it?" asked Felix.

"Nooroo just contacted me..."

"What? How is that possible?"

"I don't know, I've never heard the last guardian talking about this before nor the other Kwamis. But he told me that your uncle isn't going to send out an Akuma today."

"Hm... okay. Anything else?"

"He also said your uncle is planning something really big! He couldn't get near him and Natalie, and that was all the information he provided."

"This is big. We'll need to inform Ladybug about this later."

"Yes, master."

"It's currently 9:30 p.m. Should we arrive there early?"

"Sure!"

"Good."

Felix transformed into Argos and went out his bedroom window. He arrived at the Eiffel Tower and saw Ladybug, now he just needed to tell her about Monarch's big plan.

At The Eiffel Tower

"I see you've arrived early." said Argos.

"Oh, Argos!" smiled Ladybug.

"I need to tell you something. It's important."

"What is it?"

"Monarch's not going to send any Akumas tonight."

"What?! But, how do you know?"

"Well, he's planning something big."

"He's planning something?! How did you find out?!"

"Nooroo contacted Duusu."

"What?! Tikki's never told me about this before!"

"Well apparently, no Kwami knew too. Perhaps Nooroo found a way to contact her."

"If that's so... Then what else did Nooroo tell Duusu?"

"He said he couldn't get close to him. But at least we can stay alerted when something happens."

"This is bad... What could Monarch possibly be planning?"

"I'm hoping that this wouldn't last long."

Chat Noir arrived a few minutes after their conversation.

"Hey, M'lady!" greeted Chat Noir.

"Hey, kitty!" replied Ladybug.

"Can you... come with me?" asked Chat Noir.

"Why?" questioned Ladybug.

"There's something I wanna show you." said Chat Noir.

"I shall come too." said Argos, giving Chat Noir a death glare.

"Fine, whatever! Just you know that this is only for me and M'lady!" replied Chat Noir thinking proudly.

The two followed Chat Noir onto a yacht lit with candles. Ladybug was amazed by the beauty of it, but Argos rolled is eyes in disgust. How can this guy be so cheesy?

"So, M'lady! You like it?" asked Chat Noir.

"Like it? I love it!" smiled Ladybug.
