We finally arrived at my parents' home, and as I looked at my childhood house, I already wanted to turn back around. Seth and Decker both held my hand and smiled at me as we got out of the car.

"This is a nice home," Decker says.
"Yeah, it's cute. My parents' dream house - they both love it," I reply.
"Are you ready, baby?" Seth asks.
"I mean, with you guys here more than I'll ever be," I say, smiling.
We all walk up and start knocking on the door. I'm happy to see my father smiling at me.

"There's my baby girl. Look at you, beautiful as always," Dad says while hugging me.
"Thanks, Daddy. It's good to see you, and I missed you too," I reply.
"I heard you went to Italy. I hope you had fun. And I'm sorry. How rude. Welcome, everyone. Come in!"
We all follow him to the hallway when he finally notices Eli and Kate.
"Son, I didn't know you were in town. Good to see you, my boy. I see the games are going well. And Kate, look at you. I knew you'd come and sport, Beth. That's why you are my other daughter," he says.
"Daddy, let me introduce you to Seth, Scott, and Decker Wolf."
As we stepped into the house, my sister Bria walked out to greet us. "So, did Beth come alone, Daddy? With her attitude?" she asked.

My mother quickly walked over to scold Bria for yelling in her house. "Bria, please watch your volume. And yes, Beth your here thats good. And I can see that Eli and Kate are also here," Mom said, surprised to see everyone.
She then greeted us and led us to the dinner table. As we sat down, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the people in my life who made this homecoming so special, even if it was a bit chaotic.
