Chapter 10 party and secrets

Well Jax was true to his word he got done early with studying . Now we are on the way to the party .
I knew last week. Dangling a party in front of his face would help him to try harder . But this he really tried hard.

" So how did you do it " I ask him
He looks over at me with a wide smile .

" How did I do what " he asks me back

" you know what " I say

" There is just so many things Bliss Peterson that you could be talking about ,
Like how did I get so good looking .
How do I keep my Tesla so clean or how how how did I end up driving a very pretty girl to this party ." He teases

I take in a deep breath.
I can't believe he said that .
Is he truly flirting with me or was he trying to stop this conversation.

" No how did you study so quickly and get done so early you was really good with it tonight " I tell him.

" I couldn't sleep last night so I studied what I knew we would be studying and it worked ." He says and smiles

" I knew you could do it " I say sort of low but he heard it .

" I know you did " he says
He has a smile that is so beautiful.
It almost makes  me believe him .
Like how can any lie or any mean word ever come out of those big just perfect lips .

I need to stop staring at his lips .
I start looking on my phone .

As we pull up he says

" Wait for one second "

I stay in the car but wonder what he is doing

He opens the door .

" Oh such a gentleman " I play

He says
And takes a selfie of us
I am surprised but I smile for the picture.

" I have my dad coming to pick up my Tesla it is so expensive it should be able to drive it's own self "
He says and laughs he locks his baby as we walk toward the party

Only Jax can brag on his. Self but some how make it sound like he is complaing

" You and your dad don't get along huh "'I ask

" it's a long story and I will tell you one day but not tonight because I am getting drunk " he states and opens the door to the party for me .

Rap music fills the air .
So many people facing it is hard to move past , Jax grabs my hand .
I flip out for a second like why dose he have my hand in his but I relax when I realize that he is guiding me threw the crowed .
As soon as we get into the kitchen he lets go of my hand .
I knew he would .
I text Cassie to let her know I am here .

Jax hands me a cup .
I take a drink and I don't mind the way it tastes .

" Someone said they see your dad pull off in your car " Paisley says as she walks into the kitchen .
She walks past me she dose not even act like I am there.

" you know if I am drinking then I will not be in my car " Jax says
And I don't know why but he sounds so attractive

" Let's go make out" I hear Paisley
I look down on my phone but honestly I am listing to there conversation

" ok just. Let me tell Bliss" he tells her

" Who your tutor " she asks

" I don't get why dose she have to be here " she asks

If It was not for Jax I would tell her off but I don't want to start trouble for him . Also I am glad I am not drunk because I may just would have said something to her .

Jax ignores what she says he walks over .

" So is Cassie here " he asks me

" yes she is meeting me here she needs a drink " I tell him
It is the truth

" Ok but I will wait for her to get here " he says
" she is in this house it won't take long go on " I say

" ok " he says and smiles then his girlfriend walks up and takes his hand she gives me a I win smile and she is with him so I guess she did .

It been 10 minutes and Cassie has not made it here yet

" Hey you look beautiful " Sawyer complements

" Thanks Sawyer " I reply
I don't get why Sawyer is given me attention lately

Swayer has Carmel skin and green eyes it is such a handsome combination

" So have you thought about it " he asks
What is he talking about

I take a big gulp out of my cup and ask him

" us hanging tonight " he tells me
I had forgot he asked that earlier

I dont want to hurt his feelings but I don't want to be alone with him .
Cassie comes stumbling in .
She seems to have had a lot to drink .

" you know maybe we can hang out in a group " I suggest

Sawyer eyebrow goes up

We are now sitting in a little room watching a movie called frozen because yes right now we are that drunk .
I would say I was the least drunk but I am feeling my drink .
It is me Cassie and Eric

I think Eric been flirting with Cassie she don't seem to notice .

She been off the last week that Greg guy messed her up if I ever see him again I will punch him.

She looks at her phone I thinks she got a text .

" I am going to go to the little girls room " she says and walks pass us

" I will go with " I offer

" No stay here I will be like 3 minutes " she tells me
I let her get a few feet away

Then I follow her I have to make sure she is safe .
But she passes by the bathroom .
Maybe she didn't see it .

But she turns the Conner , I hear her say

" You have to stop texting me "
She says

Wait what it this
It is the football star
Jax

" I am sorry I just had to talk to you " he says

Oh my is Cassie and Jax are having an affair .

I could see Jax doing it he is a guy and a jock at that .
But Cassie she is sweet she wouldn't do that to another girl , I know she thinks he is hot but I can't believe she would .

" I told you I would keep it from her" Cassie tells him

I guess it is true

" but just so you know it kills me to keep this from my best friend" she yells

Wait I am Cassie best friend not Paisley.

So it would not be an affair they are keeping from me but then what .

" I mean it is for her own good its not no need in her knowing " Jax claim s

Jax leaves I don't know what they are hiding from me but I will find out .
