Chapter 8 The Not Hook Up

I have my eyes on her , Sawyer keeps on go over to her . He needs to get it threw his head she don't want him around . She only been here like 40 mins but she has drunk 3 beers she must had a real bad date.

" Getting tired of you not paying no attention to me " says my needy girlfriend and she puts her arms around arm.

" Sorry Paisley "I say
What am I doing I have beautiful girlfriend . But I know Sawyer and he will hurt Bliss .

She is too good of a girl and he will hurt her .

I look up Sawyer is right next to Bliss but this time she don't look annoyed no she is laughing .

I put my arm around Paisley and lead her into the room

" I am all yours why don't I go get us some drinks and you go and save us a seat ." I tell her

As soon as Paisley walks off I walk to kitchen to save , Bliss.

" That is a lie there is no way " I hear from Bliss's beautiful mouth

I walk over and ask

" What is a lie "

" I was telling Bliss about that time I went to all girl summer school " Sawyer speaks up

" That is actually true " I tell Bliss

" that is so funny " She says and laughs

How did this happen she told him off last night .
I lean down closer to Bliss and say
" So I thought you couldn't stand him ."'

" Dude" Sawyer yells
I know it was wrong to say but I have to get Bliss away from Sawyer .

" Oh we are fine now " Bliss states

" I explained to her I was nervous and I didn't know how to talk to her she understand that I just really wanted to talk to her " Sawyer says

Bliss laughs
Is she really believe all this .

" Hey Sawyer can you help Hank is stuck in your laundry room " Eric screams

" That door sticks " he yells and walks to help them

I am surprised Bliss can't feel my stare but if she dose she don't say nothing about it . She just looks at me then she asks
" So this is  Sawyer's house "
" it is " I answers

" How was your date " I ask her
She says

" well you are here so I am guessing bad " I tell her

I smile at her and she laughs

" It was the worst 1 st date I ever been on well I only been on 3 " she tells

" Wait you only been out with 3 boys so that is the boy tonight and Alex and who else " I exclaim

She fills her up her cup up .
" Ivan Cooker" she tells me
I laugh I just can't see it the boy is such a nerd

" it was bad too he had his mother with us I mean we was young but usally the parents drive and pick up not stay the whole date . She sit in between us at the movie ." She tells me

I laugh " and this date was worster than that " I ask her

" oh yea" she says
I feel bad for Bliss she deserves to have a great date like  something classy and as beautiful as her .

" Thought you was getting our drinks" I hear

I turn around to see a mad Paisley with her hands on her hips .

" yes I am getting it right now " I say and get us some cups

Bliss and Paisley don't speak but I can sense the Tension.

Paisley takes me by the hand and leads me .
I give a Bliss a smile as I walk past her .

I can only hope some chick will get Sawyer's attention before he gets back to where Bliss is .

It is getting late Me and Paisley been hanging out , but now she walked to her friend her and boyfriend had a fight .
I do hope that Bliss is ok . I think her and Cassie has done left . I walk to find some one to hang out with .
I look into a room and see Bliss she is sitting on a bed and she is crying .
Oh. she hooked up with Sawyer . And she is crying what did he do .
I rush into the room and I kneel down beside her .

" Are you ok Bliss" I ask
She looks at me it takes her a second to realize it is me .
I think once she does she smiles
" Jax I am fine " she answers

" What happend " I ask

She looks at me I can tell there is something.
She. Reaches out .

" Nothing " she says
" Please tell me " I beg

" I came in here you know to hook up " she tells me
I feel myself get angry
My fist ball up .

" But I couldn't I am just not that girl who just hooks up " she says and wipes a tear

My whole body relaxes .
She did not hook up .

" That is not a bad thing in fact it is a good thing because when you decide to date it will mean something " I tell her
She laughs

" I didn't mean to hurt his feelings " she says
" well Sawyer will get over " I tell her

" Sawyer" she questions

" No I was here with Kaden"
She tells me

I just thought since she was talking to Sawyer that is who . But it don't matter because nothing happened

I sit on the bed with her "so now tell me about this bad date ." I demand

" Well it was really bad for Cassie but it was hard to watch her have that happen" she says

I am little confused.she must can tell because she says

" See my date was cute and smart but Cassie was a asshole though mine did get mad when you texted" she says

I laugh but I don't know why I laughed
" sorry" I whisper again I don't know why

" Cassies dates girlfriend. Showed up " she tells me

" No " I scream

" And she was pregnant " she says
" wow that is horrible " I state
I feel bad for both girls having to go threw that .

" There is a lot of assholes out there " I say
And she cheers me
I just laugh at her .
I ease over closer to her .
In a way I feel mesmerized.

" You want to hear something stupid ." She asks

" always " I answer

" it actually crossed my mind that it was not real just that my Dean didn't like me so that was his way out " she says
I think for a second , but how can she think that .

" so he had his friend fake a pregnant girlfriend " I ask

" I know I told you it was stupid " she says

" it is stupid there is no boy in his right mind that would not want to go on a date with you " I say
She looks at me , her eyes flicker but I can't tell what that means
Her expression changes but I don't know what it means
I lean in it seems like she is leaning into ,then she stands up and says

" I should go "
I am left in a room thinking what just happened.
