{DAZAI'S POV}
I watched as my so-called "enemy" had gently changed my bandages. I didn't understand why he was doing this.
Was he doing this to thank me? Was he doing this to just say it was meant as a prank?
A million thoughts roamed in my mind.
But Chuuya looked concerned.
"Chuuya?" I called out to him while trying to put in as much gentleness as I could.
"Yeah?"
"Why do you look so ugly?"
"Shut up, asshole."
"Oh, please."
"Stay still, for shit's sake!"
"Okay, geez."
I miss those moments with all my heart.
"Um.. If you don't mind me asking, why are you changing my bandages for me when I could do it myself?" I asked him, not bothering to watch as the orange haired male moved to change the bandages on my left arm.
"I don't know, probably because your bandages keep becoming undone on missions?" He shrugged as he continued to firmly change my bandages.
His gentleness was everything to me.
"Okay then." I replied coldly.

{NARRATOR'S POV}
After Chuuya had finished changing Dazai's bandages, he had tried his best to get Dazai to let him go home.
"No, you're staying here for the night. You need medical attention because of those inj-"
"I can do it myself."
"No, you can't."
"Why are you so protective of me?"
"Because I-"
Just then did Dazai realize what he was about to say.
"You what?" He growled at Dazai.
"I can't believe I'm about to tell you, but..." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I like you." Dazai had whispered.
"What?" Chuuya asked.
Dazai scratched his head in frustration and had finally snapped at his own complicated feelings.
"I like you, okay?! I've liked you since the first time we went on a mission together with you being an official Port Mafia member and I just- I can't- I can't deal with losing you since your injuries from Corruption are so severe because I didn't save you in time!" He shouted frustratedly, his angered scratches to his scalp had left his head to bleed.
It was horrible that he had to confess like that.
"Dazai, I..." Chuuya stammered, shocked to hear that the man he loved had felt the same way.
"What, do you hate me even more now?" Dazai urged, his own blood trickling from his slightly tanned skin and staining his facial bandages and dripping down onto his button-up.
"N-No, I.." Chuuya hesitated, his breath hitching in his throat.
The only source of light in the room was from the moonlight that seeped through Dazai's balcony window.
Chuuya walked to Dazai slowly and steadily, aware that Dazai was in this dangerously frustrated state. He knew this state all too well.
He took Dazai's bandaged hand gently once he reached him and held it softly.
Dazai was confused.
"What the hell are you doing?" He interrogated.
Chuuya didn't reply. All he did was stare into the dark, chocolate brown eyes of the one he loved. Their bodies and faces were illuminated by the moonlight.
"Oi? Earth to Sl-"
Before Dazai could finish that sentence, Chuuya had pulled him down low enough for him to reach his lips.
As Chuuya proceeded to brush his lips against Dazai's, he had noticed Dazai was tensed up from the sudden kiss.
Once he had processed what was happening, his body seemed to relax and his arms had wrapped around Chuuya's waist.
Chuuya had let go of Dazai's button-up dress shirt and wrapped his arms around Dazai's neck.
After what seemed like eternity, Chuuya had broken the kiss from lack of oxygen.
"What... What just happened.?" Dazai questioned, his two fingers in front of his lips and his eyes focused on the panting male.
"I just kissed you. That's what." The fiery haired male answered, his panting ceasing.
Dazai's face had become a bright red and seemed like it had glowed in the dark.
"So... Does this mean..?" Dazai asked hesitantly.
"Yeah, guess so." Chuuya chuckled, staring into the other's eyes again. For once, he had actually seen genuine emotion from them.
Dazai carefully wrapped his arms around to hold the smaller's waist and pulled him in gently for another kiss.
