Chapter 40

Vaish: We are thinking to tell everyone about it. We shouldn't keep such a big secret from our friends

Avu: Okk

Vaish: You don't have any problem right?

Avu: Of course not. I am with you two. You two are not doing any crime to hide it from others

Vaish smiled at her.

Vaish: Thank you so much Avi. You don't know what you have done for me. I can never thank you enough. Honestly speaking even if you forgive me, I would never be able to forgive myself for what I did. I know I was not in right state of mind. I was messed up. I just took out my frustration, jealousy everything on you. But that's no excuse

Avu shooked her head.

Avu: I was never angry from you. I understand your feelings that I myself told you to be with Abhi, then I myself didn't realize I was keeping him all to myself. Actually I thought I got him back after so long. So I forgot everything. After mom dad, I only have him.

Vaish: I know how you feel if your bestie gets angry from you. I still need to make up with Mallika

Avu: It's okk. She will understand. She also can't live without you. Don't worry

Vaish: Let's hope so

After dinner, when everyone went for walk, Abhi looked at Vaish. She took a deep breath and nodded. She was bit worried and nervous thinking about everyone's reaction. Avu was standing beside her. She sensed her nervousness so held her hand and squeezed it. Vaish looked at her and she gave an encouraging smile.

Abhi: Guys

Sum: Yee?

Abhi: Actually we means I and Vaishu want to tell you something

Mallika: What happened?

Abhi: Actually thing is me and Vaish. Umm

Sum: What happened bro? Everything alright?

He asked keeping a hand on his shoulder. 

Abhi: Guys me and Vaish. We love each other

Sumellika were beyond shock especially Sum as the thought never crossed his mind. Sid already knew this was coming. Sum jerked away his hand from his shoulder in disgust.

Sum: Is it a prank or what?

Mallika was glaring at Vaish.

Abhi: Sumu it's not a prank. Bhai ye sach hai

Sum: You just don't call me brother. A boy who can cheat on a girl and has an audacity to come and say it in front of everyone especially that girl cannot be my brother. I know you disrespected her a lot, never cared for her initially. But this is too much now. How can you openly cheat on her dude? And Vaishnavi I didn't even expect this from you

He shouted in anger.

Sid: Sumu just calm down

Sum: What the fuck do you mean by calm down? Do you even understand the hell is he saying?

Sid: I know. Atleast give them a chance to speak

Sum: Well there is nothing to say

Avu: Sumu please listen to me. If not him, if not Vaishu. Atleast listen to me

Sum: Avni are you gone mad or what?

Avu: Once listen to me please

Sum: Alright. I am listening

Avu: Guys as you all know we were best friends since birth. We know each other from times we can't remember. And our parents were also inseparable. But we never had even cent percent of couple feelings for each other. We have never looked at each other that way. I know Abhi means a lot to me. We have been always there for each other. Maybe that was the reason our parents wished us to see together. It was their last wish which forced us to get engaged. But we can't even think of each other as husband and wife. Leave accepting this relationship or acting as a marital couple. It's just gonna spoil our friendship, relation we share. It's just gonna make us uncomfortable. So it was our mutual decision to break of this engagement and be happy the way we are. And I personally have no problem with Abhi and Vaish. In fact I myself asked them to be together because I knew they have feelings for each other. I don't want to come in between to lovers when I am myself not happy with this forced relationship. He hasn't cheated on me in way. In fact I myself made him free from this relationship. And this time I wasn't forced. It was my own decision. Please try to understand. Try to look from our point of view
