In evening time. In dorm office. Two boys entered.
Boy1: Good evening Ma'am. I am Sumedh Ahuja and my cousin brother Siddharth Ahuja. We booked room for us for our academic years.
Warden: Yes boys! Your room is 115. First floor boys section. Firstly you have to submit your documents.
Sum and Sid were submitting their documents when a couple came.
Warden: Your names?
Boy: Abhishek Mehra.
Warden (pointing at girl): Girl is with you?
Abhi looked at girl. For a second both had eyelock but Abhi broke it.
Abhi: Hmm.... Avneet Verma. We booked room for academic years.
Warden (checking list): Yes! We got request for one room for you both but unfortunately here rooms separate for boys and girls. So you both will get separate rooms.
Abhi and Avu looked at each other.
Abhi: That's fine Ma'am.
Warden: Okay submit your documents and also these two (pointing at Sid and Sum) are your roommates. You 3 boys will share room. Room 115 on first floor. Avneet your room 134 on same floor but girls section.
Boys looked at each other and nodded. They submitted their documents and collected their room keys.
Warden: Come I will guide you till room.
They left office just then 2 girls came with luggage.
Warden: Room booking?
Girl1: Yes ma'am.
Warden: You 4 wait for few minutes.
Sid, Sum, Abhi, Avu nodded. Warden and both girls went inside.
Sum (forwarding his hand to Abhi): Hi, I am Sumedh Ahuja and he is my cousin (pointing at Sid) Siddharth Ahuja. We are your roommates.
Abhi (accepting his hand): Hello Siddharth and Sumedh, I am Abhishek Mehra.
Sid: You are here for college?
Abhi: Hmm... Yeah! St. Paul college. First year in MBA.
Sum: Woho! Dude we are also in same college and same year.
Abhi smiled.
Sum: So friends, right?
Abhi: Yeah!
Avu was silently standing and looking at them.
Sum: Hello Miss.
Avu (nervous): Umm... Avneet Verma.
She looked at Abhi. Abhi looked away.
Sid: Hi Avneet.
Avi: Hi.
There was silence for some minutes. Warden and both girls came out.
Warden: Girls... you are three are gonna share same room. Avneet, these two are Vaishnavi and Mallika and girls, she is Avneet.
Mallika: Hii
Vaish: Hello Avneet.
Avu: Hello.
Warden: Come. I will guide you till room.
They went with warden. First they reached in girls room.
Warden: This is your room girls. You have 3 hours. Take rest and unpack your bags then come to dinning hall by 7:45 PM. Till 8:30 PM only dinner timing is.
Girls thanked her.
Warden: Boys come.
Warden went. Boys were about to go.
Avu: Abhi.
Abhi turned around and looked at her.
Abhi (rolling his eyes): What?
Avu (nervous): My books are in your luggage. Please bring it when you will come in dinning hall.
Abhi didn't reply just went away. Avu bit her lower lip to control her tears. This was observed by Sid, Sum, Mallika and Vaish.
Sid, Sum went behind Warden and Abhi. Girls went inside.
Mallika: Avneet, we are roommates and will be together for 2 years I guess so can we be friends?
Avu (smiled): Yeah! I am Avneet Verma.
Mallika: Me Mallika Shah and my friend Vaishnavi Ahuja.
Vaish: Hi!
Avu: Hey.
Mallika: Let's get fresh and we can help each other in unpacking then will leave together for dinner.
Avu and Vaish nodded. They three got fresh and started unpacking while chit chatting.
Mallika: So we three are together in same college and same class too. I guess we can enjoy our college life.
Vaish (chirped): I agree.
They hi-fied and continued their worked.
Meanwhile with boys
Same with them too. They unpacked their stuff then all went for dinner in dinning hall.
